So what happen's if the lad has to use all 3 control's at the same time,i think that would be more danger trying to go for 3 lever's on the handlebar's at the same time would'nt it.
Think the best thing to do is let him find the rear brake in course of time,,once he has a few come off's he'l soon find the rear brake.

Some time ago i managed to buy a pretty rough made up bike but as i was only after the Earl's and engine so out came the dosh.
Anyway im trying to hunt down the correct DMW frame to compliment the fork's,late 50's i gather.
Does anyone have any idea if these frame's are still up for grab's,or put me in contact with any DMW people.

Did someone ask about spare's for mont's.
A guy in t+mx used to advertise spare's for them he does'nt seem to be there anymore,i spoke to him a couple of year's ago seem's to know alot about them.i will have to go through some old copys to find his number.
His name was jeff bungay,it might ring a bell with someone on here.
i have to find some time to restore this at some stage.

Sound's like it's just doing what a choke should do to get the engine started,no real need to keep it on any longer than that,just switch the choke off and let it warm up naturally.

I've got a great technique,i wait for everyone else to find the line and follow that.
Mind you im glad winter's here at last, most rider's have the same technique in the mud.

Don't worry about the shortage of skilled labour here,heard blair was bringing in bus load's of cheap skilled worker's in from romania and bulgaria shortly,he said that will end all our worry's and LIVE'S.

same as above buddy. all the clubs cater for twinshock's so your get a ride every weekend .
there's also a very good practice area just down the road from barnstaple that you can go to any day of the week.

It sound's like you guy's are just bored and unhappy about the sport as it is today.
Why wait in hope for the big wig's to change the game when you can breakaway and start your own version of trial's the way you want it.
After all thats how a new craze is started,by the people.

not sure why we would want to make trial's more popular it would only mean longer Q's at section's.Think thing's are cool as they are to be honest.

I do wonder if this topic would have even been thought of if our man dougie was on the top probaly not,it would have been what a great win by dougie.what we really need is a another brit rider coming up the rank's to take dougie's place,does anybody know who that will be?.
Don't let's forget these rider's are getting paid for risking life and limb.
Anybody that know's there history on trial's would know it take's its natural direction on how it will change,so yes it's down to the people that pump there money into the sport on how thing's change.
It's a shame there's not more youngster's on here to give there view.
It's a great sport what ever level your at enjoy.

my old twin shocker fantic would'nt swap it for the world,although if fantic ever have there come back with a big engine trial's bike i might just be falsed to knock on my bank manager's door,thats the only modern bike i would ride if i had the choice.

Well as usual the police and MPs are going the wrong way about thing's ban ban ban that seem's to be there motto but it does'nt stop nothing.All the kid's will do is ride a bit faster to get away from the cop's and maybe kill a few more people whilst trying to get away.who's paying

thats a nice looking beast,i came across that site whilst searching earlier,there does'nt seem to be alot of info about dot's on the net,shame really judging by the one on the picture they looked like a bike of the time.

Maybe the club's should add another end of year award,known as the rider that get's heavy with observer's award.who would want to step forward for that one.

Simple,10 section's 5 observer's,Do 5 section's in the morning stop for lunch have a couple of beer's then do the other 5 section's after lunch sorted.
It does shock me however when a rider see's it his right to mouth off the observer's when they drop a foot and then tries to get hard with the observer no need for it.the rider would get a five off me straight away and a big F*** off mate.
At the end of day i allway's make a point of going round and thanking the observer for the day,without them we may aswell leave the bike in the garage.
