  1. Can sell em on at full value because not road reg unlike road bikes requiring log book ect.
  2. My mates and me included fit a new tyre and use a splash of tyre weld. This seems to work regardless of rim tape and rims etc. Im shortly to buy a new IRC for me 2011 Gasser, as its fine with the current one.
  3. Mmmm have you tried the GasGas or Beta this is not an issue
  4. Really ive done loads and allways had great results. Sorry if it didnt work out to well
  5. Easy as this is how i was advised by me mate whom works at BMW uk body shop. I applied stickers following these instructions. Get bowl or bucket of warm soapy water washing liquid i use, soak the sticker in it for 2 minutes then wet the mudguard. Remove the backing of sticker nad a quick dip in water then apply to mudguard. You will be able to adjust and move the sticker into required location then with a damp clean cloth work the water out from the middle to the sides of the sticker, you may want to use a hairdryer to speed you the process, but dont over heat as it may strech the sticker if its thin. Best OF luck
  6. Sorry British Humor at work
  7. Ive got a number plate and wonder does anyone bother with a horn for the road use. My bike has not got one or any wiring as i can see for one, so what do you use if any thing. PS ive a big mouth maybe a "move the f*%k out the way" may suffice.
  8. Hope yer friend does not read this. Here buy my lemon
  9. The gearbox has two needle rolloer bearings that maybe worn. I would firstly remove the clutch and inspect the idle gear this is often the first thing to fail. If its not that then its a gearbox strip down.
  10. Can anyone tell me where my mute button is ?. should have had Black Lace Agadoo classic. Joking apart great video and decent quality from the iphone, and a more nuetral song would be better as its nice to hear the bikes appealing to a wider audience.
  11. They look very much like the 2011 and have minor changes if any until the new brakes come on them. Nice price too nearly the cost of a small car.
  12. All my Mtb buddies say they will be better. They get alot of praise in Mtb world which I believe shows good things to come given performance from small light weight they are.
  13. Tape a drink and energy bar to each petrol can. Jelly Babies believe it or not are a massive energy boost to. Dont as said try to hard about clearing sections, too much energy and pointless unless youre an expert. I have had two shots at it n failed, once due to punctures 3 rear n 1 front first attempt, tyre pressure to low. Second attempt i was enduro fit but not trials and the weather was -3 so i was cold to then it snowed, so consider the the weather forecast. Its bloody hard but the best event ive done, you go through every emotion possible but complete or fail you come away having enjoyed it a few days later. Best of luck
  14. I would concur with that statement. Two friends bought a Sherco 2.9 and they could not get them to grip at all only to drop in results. Different years changed the power and torque on models, and i believe the 280 GasGas became softer on the 2010 model and the 300 became the beast as previously the 280 was the beast to tame. The 2010 Sherco had major issues with the petrol tanks so look into this.

    gasgas 2011

From cold dont use any throttle just choke. Check float level on carb, remove bowel and turn upside down and the brass arms need to be 15mm - 16mm at tip end from the carb base. I did this as GasGas uk advised and never had any stating issues again. It most likley will be carb and your starting technic.
  16. Well before you get your drill out i would give Mr Lampkin a call as he is helpful and will no doubt be best placed to advise. Just drilling a hole seems a bog job, just remove the case plenty of drainage then
  17. If it needed an hole to drain it would have one by design. Some years back i rode a Husaberg and they have same issue, so i siliconed the cable and the seal and i never broke down as others flooded. Come winter it will allow water both ways and take ages to dry out. Air line will still leave moisture.
  18. The solution is easy my friend. GasGas and Beta dont have these issues.
  19. Here in Uk we take a rucksack and carry tools n extra fuel and food, then drop off n ride with less weight to haul aroundin sections. I cant see the point of the extra fuel tank and never seen one only Gasser larger tanks. Out of interest how much do they hold and do they impeed seat height.
  20. Great and welcome back to Trials. Do you want Rolf Harris back ?

    Its over priced

    evo 250/290

290 all the way. No subsitute for cubes. I honestly think a larger engine can be toned down to use the torque which is what is easy to use. ie if i were to ride a 125 id be on the clutch and dropping it to make it go most likley spinning out, now on a larger bike just ease the clutch out and let the torque do its job. Best bike ive had to date was me GasGas 300 it was amazing loads of low down power softer than the 250.

    Stuck in 5th

I bet the bit no 13 as on MUDBOY part diagram. Mine was slighly bent on my old bike and was stuck in gear. This happened after i did a major rebuild Mains and gearbox bearings after the usual idle gear failure. Gas Gas ride great but sadly the gearbox is a problem in this respect.
