Not by me. I found them when surfing. If you read the captions it seems the photographer is still involved in the sport so I doubt if they'll have issues. Also they're in the public domain. I'd give credit if I knew who to credit.
Anyway whoever you are, thanks for putting them "out there". They're great.

Only been in NZ for just over a year. Before that South Africa.
No, I've never been to the TT. Many friends have and swear by it. I'd love to go. Ignore the "bikers" and get with the "motorcyclists" and just immerse myself in the atmosphere.

I apologize if anyone's copyright is breached but I had to share them with other appreciative people:

Hey Dabster, what's that reservoir on Wiggys bike?
-
Justin, it sounds like your gassers timing might be a tad out. Which 300 is it?
-
Blast! Ta Dabster. What about the 07?
-
Yeah, Subs they can do the lot (just had a look at Marks site). And Fozza will be supporting a TC supporter.
Fozza, I agree about not doing the triple clamps. Nor would I do the bashplate.

Just thinking about blinging my '06 to an '08 colour scheme. About the new tank sticker, or more precisely the tanks on the '07/'08, are they anodised? Or is it the sticker that gives the tank the darker colour? A pic might help.

Yes. But it will soften the power too. Not necessarily a bad thing. I went for the Hebo flywheel to calm my Raga down. But that didn't help with the starting. For that I developed a very large right leg!
The alternative is additional base gaskets. PeterB is the expert here and he's away until the weekend. So I'd hang on until then.

I wear knee guards because I once went over the bars and dinged both knees on the way over. No damage but gawd did it hurt.
-
The 300 is a monster to start. It does take a hefty boot to get it going. You get used to it.
-
10 = (9 + x) + x
Therefore:
10 = 9 + 2x
and:
1 = 2x
So:
x = 1/2x or 0.5.
QED!

Excuse me? Bloody presumptuous of you. Pah! An Aussie indeed.

Regularly we have somebody come on here and ask "what's the best bike?". I won't answer the question simply because it's subjective and frequently degenerates into an us vs them argument. As Andy says: "bum a ride on all of them and make up you're own mind" 'cause we can't do it for you.

Happy happy Heath..
Now where did that posting that was full of unintended innuendo go?
-
Ah, I see. A little customization.

Prolly cheaper to buy the sticker kit from Shirty.

A story about the infamous Bulto kickback. When I were nowt but little lad, the South African Bulto importer offered a ride on the latest pursang to his sponsor (Hang Ten at the time) but suggested I start the bike. The Hang Ten guy was less than impressed and commented as much. "No" said Bunny. "He knows what he's doing. There's a knack to it and he knows it". So I give this pursang the usual right legged boot. And it kicked back, slamming my knee into my fingers. It started and was I going to let this pillock know I was in agony? Was I b*****ks.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. The sites will be a great help. I was dragged down to the local BMX track today where he had a ball. Later (when it was cooler) it was my turn and he played too. Simple stuff. Two bricks 1" apart sort of stuff. I keep trying to tell him to practice balancing but I suppose asking any 11yo to stand still for as long as possible is a long shot! We'll get there.
Back to my poll. PeterB (and others) have suggested when hopping the front wheel I keep my back straight. Something I couldn't quite get my head around. But by pulling back slightly I made the the berakthrough. I hope. It's easier and more consistant now. So now it's a case of polishing. I can also place the back wheel near inch perfect within 90deg.
So, progress.

Nothing a hacksaw won't fix Javier. Still a really nice looking bike. Wonder if the brakes work? You coming out here Javier?
-
So you reckon no major diffs between a bmx bike and a specialist trials bike?
-
Not really a motorcycle trials question, but..
I have an 11 yo who's sports mad (I also have a 13 yo whose idea of sport involves playstations). The 11 yo has a nice'ish BMX bike. So where can I look on the web for some sites that will describe tricks and techniques that he can practice on that bike to get him into trials. Sadly there's no cyclo trials scene in Auckland so that won't work nor am I going to spend NZD2,500 on a specialist trials bicycle until there's some indication of committment on his part.
Billy, you'd probably have a good idea where to start.

What's Taddy doing in that hole then?

Now this, IMO, is a tasty Ossa (brakes or not):
