I have contaminated my disc pads on my SY250. I am going to take them out and bake them in the oven which works on my MTB bike. Any tips for removing and cleaning and replacing the disc pads on a scorpa sy250?

When i looked last week, they where still on Ryan Young Products website.

Great stories JayLael and John B. I also thought trials would be a piece of cake coming from a moto-X and especially enduro background but i think sometimes it is more of a hindrance.Got to remember to stick the knee's out, not try and grab the bike with them.

How do they get the weight down to 147lbs/66kgs on factory bikes?

My lower arms and hand are fine it is my lower back that i have a problem with.Someone told me to rest your tips of your fingers on the handlebar grips(so that your arms are just under the handle bar) and slowly push forward and just slightly hold pressure for a minute or two before you start riding.

Do they make Carbon fibre bash/skid plates?Could you use a carbon fibre bash plate/skid plate?Probably the cost would be to prohibitive.Just thinking about the weight savings.

If they where to discontinue the 2 stroke SY250 how would we go for parts.I like my SY250 I'd hate to sell it and get something else. Arnoux you seem pretty quite on this subject?

In moto-x the 250 four strokes are run in the 125 class.I wonder when we will see 400cc and up 4 stroke trials bikes?

No offense but should you not be riding a TM 400 with that gear?Can i come and ride that track next time I'm over that way?But not sure if my Maico would like to travel that distance.

No.Looks like he has no problems on any sections especially the last big hill.

I've got a flat bash plate.
