It"s relatively safe ,, good for stress , good exercise, it"s fun , etc. The question is , why do people not ride trials?

I agree , most trials bikes can outlast the rider , unless you are on a really strict physical training program.

If he is BMX mad, maybe that is his sport. Has he really shown any interest in wanting a trials bike?

I have an 02 model 315r, and yes the clutch was dragging with seemingly no cure. I had SUREFLEX plates installed and have had no problems since, although I am sure you will find many cases of the stock clutch being fine. They are great bikes , Hold onto it!

My quess is Lance will just play ride on his GG on his Texas ranch , I don"t think he will be entering any competions. But if anybody out there has some inside connections with Lance , he might be willing to mention trials in an interview or some other high profile public appearance.

And wouldn"t it be nice to have the 315r engine in the new chassis? That would surely sell.

I own an 02 315r , and have had zero problems.. I do like Shercos, But ,, I know this is trivial , The name " Sherco" just kind of puts me off. Kind of like owning a Hodaka "Road Toad" , without the sense of humour.

It"s only trials , and I like IT, Just DO IT.

I agree , observers have a very tough job. My six year old son "observes " for me and some friends on informal practice rides. And nothing gets past his eyes. And there is no way you can win an argument with a six year old. Unless you happen to be their parental unit.

I just watched the "Sunday" DVD from TrialsTV ,, and as one of many clear examples, Fuji , on lap one section 10 dabbed twelve times, yet he was given a score of 3. Is there some grade inflation going on here?

Bristol VA has some great riding areas , but precious few riders.Probably the opposite in Bristol UK.

Mine is so reliable , an 02 model, I have never thoght once about shooting it. I think they will be arond for a long time.
