  1. when you blow up tyre take valve out,as this lets more volume of air in faster, hold air line on till tyre seats, realease air, replace valve and inflate as normal. bit long i know but it works for me off a 50 litre comp
  2. we tried it and son said made clutch smoother but he likes clutch sharpe, so have gone back to atf, think it works out better value and i like to change oil often so nano is not the oil for us.
  3. just found a simlar crack on sons 2008 250, crack/break is across wheight saving hole and same as hilslamer appears to have pulled apart, but cant see how cos swingarm spindle thro fame and cases good. could it be that the frame flex that has caused crack has pushed broken parts to edgeof bolt hole?
  4. useing same colours for routes countrywide gets my vote but then the who's going to pay for it, as some clubs would be ok others would need a new set of pegs/cards and the clubs we ride at all seem down on entrys this year. as for setting 4 routes i find 3 taxing enough' got to go and lay down, but agree constructive criticism, better still help next time, always wellcome but not on a sunday when i've just got a front puncture' the bikes fell off stand and the bars gone through the vans back light i can laugh about it now
  5. i ride mainly east mids and we get 3 routes usually and for my sins(lots) set out for my local club and standing on a saturday with a collection of coloured pegs in hand thinking, i want to start there, finish over there, test the expert route, challege the clubmen and be gentle on the begineers, oh not forgetting that the observer needs to see it all, makes section plotting a 'black art'. last time had 4 complaints, 1 too hard and 3 too easy but a lot of 'just rights'.like observers section plotters like a thank you too.
  6. starting trials in my mid 40's youth not on my side but road &motocross past beginer route was ok, towards end of first year when in contention for beginer championship had the rare thing of being clean for the trial.won championship but it was close, now moved to middle route no chance of being clean here but i think i'm still inproving but more important i'm enjoying it. trials is a group of friends competing and it sure beats d.i.y. on a sunday.
  7. check out the clubs in your area. some run training days but most riders will offer some tips, some to use and some best left to others!
  8. getting a solution to this that suits everyone is going to be as easy as setting a trial where no one complains about it being to hard, to easy, too many rocks, not enough rocks etc.in other words b------y impossible!
  9. went to pegasus as normal living leics it is one of my locals, entry was down, also being "mothers day" may be that some had their passouts cancelled! we had one rider who was on a strict home by time
  10. and wayne kershaw called 1 of them mrs shirt! if so he"s lucky s-d wearhouse full of trials/enduro bikes and 1 of them cooking his dinner when he gets home.
  11. not keen on the race bit myself, no probs with time thro section after all "time and observation" but Bou is on a different level. good to see dibs up there with them. still bloody good night
  12. having had my beta since easter, the cold drag is annoying and a way of getting rid has got to be looked at. good post and like others say well presented

    Beta 200 2010

i was told they kept mikiuni on the 200 cos it gives a smoother feel to the motor. the evo 200 still feels livelier than the rev3 200 but i think that is due to the exhust design

    Gg Heavy Clutch

when i had same problem with sons 04 125 it turned out to be water/coolant getting past pump seal. replaced pump spindle (groove in shaft) and seal changed oil, been ok since. did the stuff you've done but couldn't cure was told to check this by guy in club
  15. own a 98 tx125 looks just the same apart from colour ... and dodgy 2002 graphics
