  1. best fing i found was to make a section which you think that you could possibly do for a three and add aspects that you know that you havent tried or have a weakness at and try and try it until you clean it two or three times and then add another bit like a bigger step or tighter turn and you should start to get better
  2. if your fork yokes are low try moving them up so the top of the top yoke is flush with the top of the fork top which should help you with the tucking under

    Engine Noise

hi i had a 2001 txt 200 and when riding it started to have a engine knock only small but gradually got worse and worse it was the little end bearings packing up so it may be them
  4. turn your mixture screw out by half a turn and try it then you should need choke on from cold and then it should start easier when hot, keep turning it half a turn out until it starts and runs well then look at the plug you will then be able to see if the mixture is ok and that
  5. try winding the mixture screw out a full turn and see if that helps but it may need more or less its really a fine tuning job tbh but a turn out should be about right
  6. the best thing i have seen so far for marking out the sections is tape around the outside of the section which you cannot go outside and then the easy route go anywhere between the tape so they can pick their own lines depending on how confident they are and the middle route follow green flags and the hard route follow red and blue seems to work fine and not seen many complaining about it
  7. i think the main reason why jarvis doesn`t compete in world level is because he doesn`t have the sponsorship to be able to do it! it is a very pricey thing to do and has alot of travelling and also he could be in the top at world level definitely if he was practising all day every day and training really really hard like the top riders do but he is probably more happy defending his title as british champion and its probably his own choice not to compete at world level. whatever the matter the guy is an awesome rider and i have huge respect for him.
  8. basically the slow action throttle has to be opened more to give it the same amount of revs as a fast action throttle so it makes the bikes revs easier to control as the you have more throttle play to play with

    Smoking Sherco

what mixture you running your bike on oil wise this may be the problem or if you dont rev the bike at high rpm very often it might be an idea to give it a good blasting out at some point and rev it really hard if that doesnt clean it then its probably your mixture so you might need less oil or even the mixture on the carb
  10. i think that using a bike rack or even a van would be alot better than a trailer if you only have one bike 1. it saves money on petrol as your carrying less weight with a bike rack than a trailer 2. a van or car with a bike rack onb back can be parked alot easier than a trailer 3. trailers are hard to reverse and manouvre about whereas a small van or bike rack isnt so basically there are alot of things in favour of a bike rack or van to a trailer and after having a bike rack for two years i definitely wont go back to using a trailer if am taking just one bike but i would prefer a small van cos in the winter when its cold and raining a van is good to get changed in etc
  11. obviuosly the bleed nipple will have to be open and also open the reservoir top because your pushing fluid back through the system into the reservoir so it will overflow out of it so put the reservoir in something that it can overflow into and keep syringing the fluid through
  12. if the towbar sticks out from the back of the motorhome then i dont think that it will make any difference to be honest and if its got a storage part wunt it be better to use that??
  13. front and rears are different i would defo get some from ebay they are alot cheaper than from gas gas or your local trial shop and they last just as long if not longer
  14. i think its on eurosprot 2 on a thursday at 6 i think or on a monday at 10.15pm just like the indoor and each round is a week later than its been ridden if ya get me well atleast i think it is anyway, well thats what it said on eurosport website last time i looked

    05 280 Gasgas

all the bolts are pretty crap on the gassers to be honest as they are all aluminium so they can snap real easy so dont over tighten them but that is about it, oh the footpeg mounts can also snap aswell which is a pain so if they have`nt i would get them welded up and strengthened and also all the exhaust mounts on the middle box do tend to snap but them last two depend on how you ride it to be honest but thats about it really just keep everything running smoothly and all the moving parts greased up and that and the usual maintenance and you should be reet

    290 Dog Bone

i have a gasser and i clean mine every month and re grease them and pack them full with waterproof grease but it dont seem to matter cos it all gets blasted out with pressure washer anyway but if i were you id try not to clean them with the pressure washer and just do them once a month instead will keep them running sweeter for longer i do think
  17. for a 06 and in good condition you would probably be looking at around 2000-2300 quid
  18. i have an 06 gasser and i have a little bit of play but not 1/2 inch, sounds to me like you may need new bearings and bushes and im afraid to say that you are going to have to mess about with them, i take mine apart every month and clean and grease them up so that they dont seize up otherwise its 30 quid down the drain due to low maintenance but its a dead easy job just take them out and ava look would be the best bet i think

    Leaking Bike

hi all i wonder if you could hgelp me i have a leak on the right hand side, it is leaking where the side casing joins the gearbox and oil is leaking from this, could you tell me what this could be and is it just a gasket or something worse that is making it leak? thanks alot coxy
  20. slap bike in third or fourth gear if youve got a long run up or 2nd with short run up give it loads of revs and slip the clutch to get the drive and then dont shut off at all just use your clutch to keep bike under control and lean back
  21. its also on on a monday night at 10.15 on europsort 2 i think its the repeat from thursday showing as the one on monday is the last round
  22. from experience i have found that lincoln trials are one of the hardest trials in the area so if you only finished on two marks then i would defo give the middle route a try, you will probably learn more and also enjoy it alot more and especially at lincoln you will find sections that are easy and sections that are hard so it caters for everyone on the middle route to be honest so all i can say is try it on middle route, if you dont like it or its too hard go back down simple as
  23. adam jones second i reckon i think it will be challoner first and jones second all year to be honest and the others fighting it out behind them

    Forks

your front end will be higher than his probably all it does is raise or lower the front end
  25. i use to find that with my bars striaght up or at 90 degrees to the floor that my back would hurt after a while riding so i moved the bars forward abit which seems to be alot better but really it depends on what feels comfortable to you and doesn`t hurt you. the risers will probably help you out quite a bit as they will be making the bars higher so you dont have to crouch as much to reach the bars
