  3. Nice one cheers for posting. and cheers for observing , although you could have told me I didn't need to walk down and back up that hill
  4. Is it just me or are they only the national riders results?
  5. Done it in 2007, fantastic trial. Having just got home fron the jack wood I would say they are on a similar level. The Loch Lomond two day is all off road. The sat is normally one lap of 40ish sections and the sun is two laps of 20ish sections, with an absolutly fantastic ride round. Some of the most spectacular views you will ever see My advice, Get an entry in and do it
  6. I know you are giving the trial praise but, I cant see how you can call that a hard trial, the top end of the expert route dropped around 30/40 marks as did the 50/50 route, so that says to me it was spot on, not hard at all just right. when the winners start droppin 80/90 marks then it's hard! As for the water dragging up on the banks it made it a bit more of a challenge but not dangerous or impossible the sport we ride is motorcycle trials after all. If they just want to ride around a nice track all day I suggest the buy a cheap nasty caravan and a staffi and take up motocross.
  7. Whats going on there?????? Did the Mighty Bou have man Flu or something???
  8. Rode the 50/50 route today and i must say well done to the section setters as it was spot on thanks to all the observers and the club for an excellent days sport

  20. Riding a Lanarkshire club trial at penicuik when I was about 13, I hooked up 5th gear on my trusted ty pinkie and opened her up along a large bit of flat open ground when a large ditch about 6ft deep and 12ft wide opened up in front of me, I slammed on the anchors but was going to fast to stop so I decided to try and jump it so I opened the throttle and dumped the clutch, but it was in 5th so it just sounded like a wet fart and didn't pull in the slightest, proceeded to help it with the legs and had a homer simpson moment (where he tries to jump the gorge on the skate board) front wheel slammed into the opposite bank, I then bounced back and fell off to the side. A few seconds later my brother, who was going in the opposite direction saw the whole thing and was nearly crying with laughter told me to get up and hurry up. I got up with a sore wrist and tried to ride to the next section but decided to ride the mile and a half back to the car. Went to the doctor the next day to find that I had a green stick fracture to my left wrist. Had a cast on from wrist to shoulder, but managed to release my thumb from the cast so I could still ride round at future trials with my cast on
  21. Gutted!!! I thought you had to be an expert to ride!!!! I drove from High Wycombe down the M40 where there was a massive accident round the M25 got completly lost in hertfordshire for an hour, eventually got to the trial 45mins after it started and I could have gone just up the road!!!!!!
  22. I will at some point, I only live at high wycombe at weekends (drive down on fri and back up on sun) so I am trying to keep travelling to trials at a min.
