Hi folks
Can anyone tell me how to set up the rear suspension properly?
At the moment I have the spring wound as tight as it'll go and the damping set so I can (try) and hop and bop, but when I ride along a trail between sections the rear bottoms out and the exhaust rubs on the rear tyre.
any help would be great.

As well as those I would fit a 10t front sprocket, makes a world of difference.
I had one for about 18 months, fantastic little bike, mine got me round the ssdt and never missed a beat all week. If I had the money I would buy another as a second bike. Good choice

not sure about the mont ones but the 250f long ride increases the capacity to 5L (standard 2L)add a number board tank and you have 6L. The hole in the normal tank can easily be filled up from the pump.
If you want something even more frugal the 200f is fantastic, the long ride holds 4.5L but is really good on fuel, air cooled and super reliable.
Note: A few people have ridden my bike as well as a 4rt and said the 250f feels really nice and prefer it.

Might be worth sending billycraig a pm, he was riding a 300 last year and has now moved on to a little 125. Seemed to have enough grunt to get him around the SSDT, and there a few biggies in that trial.

just thinking of another option, why not get rid of the beta, buy a scorpa 250f trials bike and a long ride kit and a different set of cogs? same thing int it???? I am thinking of doing it myself, enduros should be good training for events like the ssdt etc and a bit of a laugh.

I agree totally, I gave them some templates for my scorpa 4t and asked them to come up with a design. They sent me one to proof a couple of days after and it was spot on, the stickers are fantastic quality too.
