Hello folks,
I am toying with the idea of getting a bike to go to work on (just over 20miles) and I wouldn't mind having a go at an enduro or two, is there a bike out there that would suit both????? Obviously it will be better for one than the other, looking for something that isn't going to fall to bits doing both.
Please submit your suggestions
Cheers
Spike

Agreed, no further discussion required!

Good photos mate, love the sequence of bou jumping the gap (Day 2 Photo 217,218 & 219)

I think at club level cost is the biggest factor, also the fear of change? A lot of people don't like the idea of 4t don't know why?
Don't think raga will be on the 4t until it has been developed, and they know it can win.

My efforts from later on in the week after I retired
Here you go
They are not as good as andy or slapshot but then again I can't say photography is that high on my list of interests and my camera only cost

I went for the first time last year. It was a good trial and the social was fantastic epecially watching people smash trays over their heads just for giggles
-
I think I might well go this year, only to watch tho (I have never been!). You never know I might ride, depends on how many brain cells I destroy between now and then
-
I was trying to plan a bit ahead on what trials to ride this year and thought it would be good to hear your opinions. I was thinking about a good meaty trial and the more multi day and road trials the better Could you please write the trial, club and month of event.
To start the year in Jan I rode the clubman route at Hillsborough's centre road trial, brilliant.
in March I had a go at Stratford-upon-Avons Colmore cup, bit hard for me cos I'm not used to mud but I'm suren I'll have a go next year.
Later in March Hillsborough's Jack Wood Trial, brilliant again.
This weekend I am off up to Kinlochleven for Lochaber & district's Ian Pollock memorial trial, which was fantastic last year.
May of course the big fella, SSDT 09.
I have heard the Alan Jeffries and Wainwright trials are of a similar ilk to the jack wood, are they? and where and when are they?
Would love to do the Richmond clubs Reeth 3 day in july but can't make it this year Loch Lommand 2 day in May is brilliant but I'll still be recovering from SSDT.
Will try and get back over to jersey at the back end of the year for their 2 day.
What are your thoughts?
-
I had the joy of driving just 1.5 hours to the trial but had 3.5 hours to get to high wycombe after the trial, Killer! Feel sorry for the bloke I recognised from north berks who was riding, especially if he drove up and back down in the same day.
worth it for a trial like that tho.
Where did you finish Baldilocks?
-
That's what all trials should be like! I know getting access to land is difficult but I think it is a real waste when clubs get a massive bit of land and end up putting silly hoppy boppy setions in!
Wish I lived in Scotland
-
Agreed First time ride for me, certainly wont be the last,
-
Sorry about the quality they are scanned images, Enjoy!
