Just wondering if scorpa are going to produce the 200f for '09 I have had a look on the frech scorpa site and there is no 200f on there, are they stopping production????? anybody out there in the know?

Yes, makes it alot more useable it drops the gearing to 2nd on the 10t is like 1st and a half on the 11t. That together with the lightened flywheel makes it into a far livelier animal

as far as I am aware the only differences are the ones you have mentioned... May have heard something about a different CDI in the racing model but not sure??? The 200f will be ideal for what you need it for (technical enduro/basic trial) I have been riding mine for about two years now and it has enough power to drag me round the hard route at club trials in lincolnshire!!!! As for riding it on the road, I have an 07 racing model which is road legal (day time only) all you need is a speedo and a horn. If search the forum you will be able to find more info on making bikes road legal.

Get it skimmed!!!! makes a whole world of difference I have recently had mine done, revs alot higher and quicker at bottom end

Not me personally but in 1996 at a dalmellington club trial heavy rain (I know what your thinking, rain in scotland, no way) made the burns quite deep, going between sections I stopped to help a stricken rider only to see he was far beond help. He had drowned his new beta techno out and tried to start it again, in doing so the water filled barrel snapped in two bending the con rod and god knows what else, saw him a few weeks later and it apparently cost around

It looks like scorpa are putting some time and effort into electric bikes, they already have an electric version of the "4 tricks" called the "etricks". And by the looks of the site they are planning a trials bike and a T-ride too Click here for the proof

That gearing is far too high, thats road gearing. The standard is 11t on the front, but I have dropped mine down to 10 makes 2nd gear a lot more usable, a bit slower between sections tho. I have just returned from honeymoon where I spent an entire 2 weeks horizontal therefore I am no where near the required fitness level for such an event..... Maybe next year how much is an entry just out of interest???
