A safer way stew is just to use wd40 and a saucepan cleaner (scouring pad) you can,t damage the piston this way

Anybody got the float level settings, I appear to have a dieing motor on steep climbs. tryed it home put the bike up the wall motor peters out, drop the bike down fires up first time.

Also check the choke plunger is seating correctly, even though choke lever in off position dirt particles can prevent the plunger from sitting down properly, giving you over rich running situation.

I,ve just brought a pair of xc-ting evos myself always use to wear alpinestars untill now, alpinestars are good but not water-proof for the same price evo,s are (not the xc-ting advanced), sidi are also a good boot and water-proof.

I know I,m gonna get chips and dents on it but I want to do that my self, Unfortunatly he was,nt keen to knock money off or replace the bike with either of the other 4 he had for sale, I got me refund I,m shopping again. Whats your view on gears or no-gears ?, just seen a nice bike but single geared.

Thanks for the info guy,s. Yes I saw your ashton for sale barry but was abit slow off the mark. I did buy one of those saracen o6 super pro trial team bikes off E-bay, but thats going back next week it,s a new bike but had chips all over the frame, so back to drawingboard.

I think your refering to castrol chain wax, which I use to use good in the way it sticks and protects the chain externally in muddy conditions, but when sprayed it,s not runny enough to lube the rollers. I,m now using wurth dry lub, this gets into the links then dries so you would,nt think you had any on. Only problem is your proberly find it about

I,ve just recieved my Michael Brown decals very good quality well pleased with them very quick delivery, just need a white front mudguard to do job properly.

If it,s of any help to anybody Steve Saunders very kindly contacted me in reference to the sxs repsol decals, informing me that it could be possible to make them with out the repsol and insert an alternative with obvious restriction of copywrite, this I thought was very helpfull of him. But I had already gone for the Micheal Brown decals.

Anyone found yet somewhere to get silver carbon goodies and desent replacement decals ?, not SXS I don,t want REPSOL all over the bike when I,ve been long time user of PUTOLINE as to be used by Beta uk this year, who makes the TTT Beta teams graphics ?. I don,t mind those 3d trial team on the previous post either.

I,ve heard from sources browns exhaust is a 4 stroke shell with different internals.

If the helmet,s polycarbonate in constuction don,t put stickers on because the adhesives softens the material.

I would be gutted for anybody to lose their bikes to scum bag,s, but for it to happen to such a nice bloke like malcolm that I,m sure many of you have known through years nationally, it really p,s me off. Fitted same link,s to my 07 4rt allowed the suspension to be more active on rough terrain and steps and such like, gives a better clearance by removing the excess sag in the suspension, even better for hopping ( if you can hop),worth the money.

I,ve seen a few of these rev4,s where the exhaust actully fouls on the frame just in front of the rear shocker, worth checking.

Strange really, as soon as I swop my 07 4rt for a 08 beta Dougie changes camps as well some-body,s been talking.

The front pipes good, better then the s1 version, I,ve got mine matched up with the upgraded centre pipe sounds good and is very crisp at pickup, warning front pipe gets very hot so fit a jitsie front pipe protector for your own sake , also replace the front frame/sump plate bolts for flat headed allen bolts as the exhaust does foul on them, and does move when hot.

Of all the trials bikes I,ve ever had only the two beta,s have given me this problem, all off-road bikes should be able to with stand a power washer. The decals are to flimsey and the adhesives are poor.
