  1. There's always hope. I had mine stolen in 2012. I checked ebay and gumtree every week for four years. It finally surfaced at a dealers in 2016 !! I got it back. Hope you find it but do this as well, you never know.
  2. Thanks everyone. Can't say I noticed it on previous Gasser I'll rest easy now Cheers
  3. Should the tickover be affected by the fan coming on? Also should the fan increase in speed when you raise the revs? Don't remember this happening on previous bike.Cheers
  4. Cheers for the replies. Backed the bolt out and tightened up nut, all seems well. Thanks, still learning at 56.........why is that?
  5. On the clutch side the pivot bolt holding lever to m/cylinder rotates as you pull lever in. On brake side it stays put. I think it should stay put but cannot understand the difference between the two. Any expert views out there?
  6. Flywheel woodruff key is first choice. Happened to me on my racing couple of years back. Sounds terminal but isn,t.
  7. On the Sunday some sections were altered. traditional sections were 2, 4,5, part of 6, and then 8 was a real mudplugger at the beginning and took loads of marks. i felt some of the other gates could have been tightened on Sunday. All in all a good mix.
  8. I'm sure the organisers would like feedback from spectators as well as riders so here goes. I'm local to this venue and ride here quite a bit. When it was first announced I thought great but where will they ride. I have to say that I thought the whole weekend was fantastic. The sections turned out to be very spectator friendly and you could comfortably see four or five sections a lap.So I would like to say thanks to the organisers for trying a new venue central to the UK and lets do it again sometime.Anyone got any real negatives from the weekend?
  9. I think the chain may play a part by trying to shorten along the top run as the clutch is released. Thereby pulling the rear wheel upwards.
  10. Good explanation in the diagram. Makes more sense to me now as well.
  11. Hi yes you can or locktite it in or when riding rev the bike up whilst pulling on lever. The bolt will wind itself back in - sorted.
  12. The website for the world round in Yorkshire is not very inspiring . You can but tickets but for the great unwashed it tells you very little. Some pics of a bike leant against one of the obstacles would be a start as they are awesome.I hope the organisers read this forum. Someone like Dougie ont' news abaat it would be good.

  14. Excellent Oni Nou. If its about resale value I'd go with some strips of technosel, cheaper and replaceable is sections (not those sections !!) Someone is making a fortune out of vain trials riders.
  15. Thinking about a gas gas 250 to 300
  16. Can this be done and if so what parts are needed. Is it just barrel, head and piston. Cheers
  17. I fill my belly with beer and my tyres with helium and just float over the sections dropping no marks whatsoever !!!
  18. Well your answers have suprised me I didn't realise that anyone of that age did it
  19. Just wondering at what age do people still enter the main competition?
  20. Yep top shock removal does help loads. While your at it check centre of swinging arm mount, same bearings 2no
  21. Thanks. i stripped it and took it to the shop. The braketec parts fit perfectly but if you're changing I'd check old against new. Think it was 9.5mm kit. All good now for £20.
  22. Might have a slight weep on the m cyl but its part of the formula set up. No name on cyl so are they interchangeable? Seen a new one for £60 rather than do seals piston etc.Any help appreciated.
  23. I also find it annoying. Perhaps cut half of it off to ease reassembly. I thought it might be there for maintenance so that you don't have to screw everything back together before testing.
  24. put them in your airbox or trials pants zipped pocket
  25. Do your endo and apply back brake as often its the chain whipping as it comes to a halt under load
