start with somthing simple. a yamaha ty is cheap and reliable

had the same problem on my ty, try drying out the flywheel with a heat gun, and then use instant gasket to seal the casings to the engine

hi all, on sunday i did a extremley muddy and wet trial. after i got home and pressure washed my bike it developed a flat spot. when i leve it to tick over for a minuete or two its fine but when i pull back the throttle it dies. i have to build up the revs slowly and then ride. any one know? thanks in advance

hi, il try to help you, 1/ my cluch drags. do an oil change with a decent make of transmision oil. sae 75w, 500ml if this doesnt help you might need a new cluch. 2/remove the rear mudguard and underneth there is two 10mm bolts. remove them and..................... air filter! 3/80:1 + 75:1 is fine 4/remove the tank and towards the top of the radiator is the cap. hope this helps have fun max

hi, rode a ty for ages but never had this problem. but they do like there gearbox oil! there is no level plug on the crankcase so you wil have to change the oil. i change mine every 2 months. the ty manuel says " when changing the oil fill 750cm3. on a complete fill form dry fill to 800". i will have to check but i beleve it needs 10w5 oil but i could be wrong. i will check tomorrow and come back to you. max

hi all, last night i was changing my pads on the forunt brake. it went well with no probs.....but when i put the caliper back onto the bike brake fluid was seeping out of the seem were the two halfs of the calier meet. this only happens when i pump the lever. i changed the o-ring rubber washer to a slightly thicker one but it still leaks. is there a specific torqe setting to do the caliper up to? or is there something im missing out? any help appreciated! thanks max

i have a pair of gaernes balence and they have served me great! i have wide feet and they are realy comfy. my m8 bought a pair of forma gripers and i have to say the qualityu isnot as good as the gaernes.

its always good to try a differnt route. it helps you get better if your skils are being streched a bit.

hi im not quite in the plymouth area. but im in the launceston area. the best way to get riding would be to join a local club. there are a few around. 1. devonport- local but extremly hard! 2 launceston- a amazing club of wich im a member! there are others but im not familier to them. me and a few of the lads around mine are allways riding so if you want to go out sum time pm me max

thanks i had another look at the one on ebay and it added up to 45quid! plus its not even the correct mudguard for the mono! thanks all the same (i think jkhirs have a new coustomer!)

hi everyone as usual going mad on my ty mono i wheelied off a rock and snaped the rear mudguard. i know that the new ones on e-bay are 36 quid but does enyone know were to get ont cheeper? or has anyone got a second hand one in laying around that they would be wiling to part with for a reasonable price? thanks all

hi stench just to let you know that i run my pinky on bp6es plug without any problems although when i bought my bike it had a bp7es which did not last very long,remember to change it on regular basis it does pay,good luck and enjoy your riding

hi everyone my ty pinky with the front brembo disc caliper is not working properly. sometimes i can pull it straght in to the bar without any braking. i have blead the brake and nothing came out. can enyone tell me how to cure this? thanks
