  1. not had the pleasure myself of using a kliponoff, i use the dave cooper version and load it with my aprilia climber which is quite a weighty bike and love it, its on the back of a vectra diesel so i dont notice and diffence with the steering. quite neat when your not using the rack as well, but dont walk into because it leaves nasty marks on your shins...............
  2. I'm taking a trip over to Fishguard next week and wondered if there's anything local happening on the trials scene. I've been threatened with certain death from my other half about taking my bike so it will be in the watching capacity only. Cheers.
  3. any links to view this french nutter?

  5. I would love to see it all again, they should do some re-runs as well as a new series..........the sport could do with some decent tv coverage fond memories.................... cant believe how long ago that seems now.
  6. fork details to download Here you go then Stu after hours trawling the internet i found this gem via an american forum for mx bikes. Hope this helps. Stevens trials has the parts on the shelf as well if you need them............ Richy
  7. No worries Stu, as soon as i find out and strip them i'll let you know. the side without the adjuster is easy.
  8. just checked out some old posts and found i need 260cc of oil for the forks...........
  9. popped the forks seals on my aprilla climber today and decided to strip the forks down to replace the seals, how do they come apart on the adjuster side. the other side i had no problems with. another quick question how much fork oil do i use????? all help gratefully received. thank you.
  10. work on opposites, if you tighten the spokes on one side to pull the rim over you need to loosen the opposite spokes first to allow the rim to move, once you have the rim as near to true as possible tap all spokes starting from the valve and any that sound to tight slack off an eighth of a turn at a time until they all sound the same, if they sound to lose then tighten an eighth of a turn. it time consuming but i've always had good results from this. If you have an egg shaped wheel you can use the same process but work on opposite sides of the rim, and always slack off before tightening to move the rim. Hope this helps a bit. the way i ride i've used this process quite alot.
  11. Spud i must say those wheels look the dogs mate.................shame about all the southern mud your going to get on them.............
  12. r2w .........i shall refrain from answering that the way i would like to............it was for my son to build up his confidence a bit.........Later in the day he was doing stuff like this.........

  16. have you got usd forks or standard forks, my sons 94' has usd and i had to cut away all the ali bracket, travel 10 foot in the southern mud and the front whell locked solid, i have seen the standard fork brace cut away as well this means the mud has nothing to clog against.
  17. stevens trials has front and rear guards on the shelf at the moment. stevens didn't get a price of them though sorry........
  18. W.B. Going by the frame and engine number it's a 1994 model, hydraulic clutch on it as standard (or at least thats what i've been told) the colour scheme is the same as i got it, i cant trace any new mudguards in that colour, can only get them in white now. The clutch on this one is light as a feather, i need that sort of help with my riding skills.
  19. Heres a piccy of my little beastie, all dirty, how all good trials bikes should look
  20. Sounds like you guys have it all. i'm lucky if i get out once a fortnight, the practise ground we used to have around here has closed and there's nowhere legal to ride, most of the time it's the trials only i get to ride. I could definately do with lots more practise. The nearest legal place to ride thats open all the time is a 2 hour drive away.
  21. I got one, all you had to do is ask!
  22. Theres a phone number on the TMX website, might be able to point you in the right direction.
