I'll bet it's the stator not the coil. Close the plug gap to about .003 and see if it will run. You will have to find someome who will rebuild motoplat stators. I sent one to a guy in Washington state one time for a rebuild I think his name was david pyle.

Tore the pcl in my left knee about 16 years ago. I wore a knee brace for about 3 years until I lost it one day {always put your gear away before driving away} Now I just wear neopreme sleeves. The most trouble I have is walking the sections not riding. Good Luck, put maximum effort into your rehab it will really make a difference.

No its not designed for trials, it comes with a different cam grind. I was just tring to show that the engine has a very strong bottom end. If the big bore kits that Scorpa come up with are costly then the BBr kit or Powroll kit may be a option. the BBr kit sells for 439.95 {piston, rings, cylinder and cam} an aftermarket cam from Hot Cams sells for 149.99. By the BBR kit sell the cam and the price is not to bad. The big bore Kit doesn't have to be trials specific, more cc is better no matter who developed them.. Yamaha has sold thousands of TTR125 using the same motor, they are bullet proof motors. BBR already has 150cc big bore kits and powroll has 175cc big bore kits available. The cases have to be bored out to install the 175 kit so it is at least twice as expensive.

The 04 300 pro comes with the round slide carb. You can put the flatslide on it and it really wakes it up,big torque and quicker revs. :santa1:

Here are 2 thinks that you can try. Change the starter jet,the long jet with the o-ring. the stock jet is a 60. Go to a 70 or 80 the bike will start easier. the other option we use when it gets very cold, below 32. turn the fuel on then lay the bike on its side for a few seconds, pick it up full choke no throttle it should start in a kick or 2. This works on all the bikes with dellorto carbs. On my 02 pro i drilled out the starter jet to the next index drill sizeand it starts better cold and hot :santa1:
