  1. Removing or installing the chain tensioner an spring are a 2 minute job if done correctly with no more tools than a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. To remove first take the spring tension off the chain tensioner arm then remove the pivot screw. With the tension off the arm it should come out very easily. To install put the assembly together with the spring on upside down, yes I said upside down! Make sure that the spring will be in the correct position when it is rolled over. Start the pivot screw into the swingarm mount, screw it in approx. 1/2 way do not tighten it all the way yet. Now roll the spring over making sure the spring does not lock into the tensioner arm, that is the last step, the front part of the spring will hit the swingarm at a angle, take a large flat blade screwdriver or flat bar stock and place it against the spring above the pivot bolt and hit it with your hand. The spring will pop into position with very little effort. Now tighten the pivot bolt slowly centering the spring as you go, when the bolt is tight then take pliers and install the spring on the tension arm and your done! I have been using this method for years with no damage or loss of spring pressure. After you try it you will be surprised how easy and fast it actually is to do

    Ty175 Forks

I agree TY250 forks are a great improvement over the stock forks! Another side effect that I bike tends to climb hills better, a little more weight on the front end is a good thing on a TY175
  3. :agree: Now that is Funny!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hose Clamps...

I'm sorry but you are wrong!!!!The clamps are reuseable They have a catch on them so you are not crimping them. I have rode GASGAS trials bikes for over 10 years have never had a failure on a hose clamp. If you have any guestions about the clamps ask your dealer !!!!!!
  10. Sounds very interesting, keep me informed but I'm sure that it will get filled before I find out if we can come down. Always looking for a reason to go to Tish. it's such a cool place Do you know costs and the exact dates?????????

    Hose Clamps...

They are reuseable, just pry them apart at the raised area. To reuse them just pinch them back together with a pair of pliers
  12. No Andy all riders were being judged the same, FIM rules.
  13. The NATC meetings not till November, that's when the 125 thing will will happen!
  14. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got home from TTC. A 13 hour drive gives you a lot of time to reflect on the weekend . Dan i don't know how you a Charlie do it with just over a month to get everything ready after the World round. Great event, If you haven't been to the Youth Nationals find a way to get there. If you have been but missed this year don't let it happen again! Al it was great to set and talk with you and Hanna! Brian R, the plate looks great on the van And yes it was great to see Lane and Daniel!!!! Anyway thanks again Dan We are already planning for next year. Steve
  15. I found that solution by accident, I tried everything else first. Sometimes the fix is right in front of you but you have to do it the hard way! Dean's going to be back isn't he? It wouldn't be the same with out him there! Steve
  16. He Al I had the exact same problem on my 02 Pro, a clutch banjo bolt with a bleeder will work If the bleeder screw is not leaking leave it alone, put the banjo bolt in. I rode my for over a year with it setup that way See you later in the week! Steve
  17. I did not intend to attack you, I just want to see you practice what you preach! Daniel is exactlly what I was referring too{thanks NO JIVE}!!!!! He has talent is a very good rider and if he doesn't have trials in his blood I don't know who has. Me, I'm a nobody Ive only been doing this for 20 years. I toil in the backround helping my local club, helping friends at the Nationals when I can and I did judge at the World Round this and I'll do it again if I can. Yes I help support riders for free,as soon as their importer sponsorship deal come they promise to compensate me. We at least you didn't call me a smart*ss, thou Al can be a great host. I don't have the answers which you seem to have, but if not through Daniel then use the California riders ,you guys have a great bunch, to prove you ideas. Show us your ideas in practice, like I said I think that some have merit
  18. I think we'll get there on Thursday Josh Nutsch, age 12,line 2
  19. So your mission was to p*ssoff almost everybody? Lane in this case actions speak louder that WORDS! Enough of the blow lets see some GO! We all know what your ideas are show us what you can do. I agree with some of what you say but you can't tear every thing and everybody down to get there. It is very obvious that either you are passionate about this or you are just full of BULL****!
  20. Sounds perfect Brian
