  1. Great to meet you Steve, glad to hear that you are planning to return next year!! The place is very addicting for the kids and the parents. This was our 6th year of competition at the Youth Nationals, next year will be the last for us. My son Josh was mad after Saturday event not that he didn't win but because I wouldn't let him go out and practice in the sections again. {had to get his bike ready for a week of riding at the youth camp} Great competition, Fantastic people, Terrific place to ride, If you take your kid once you will be back!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Sure Did Just got home from TTC! It was a very close trial between 3 riders!!! Oh I bet you want to know who won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cody Webb 1st Will Ibsen 2nd Pat Samage 3rd
  3. Steve My son Josh is 14 and wil ride the A1 line. You're right the little red 125's are fantastic machines, Josh has already beat me in a couple of events this year.
  4. We'll be down again this year !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the highlight of the summer, I just wish that the gate trial was on Thursday not Tuesday! Look forward to meeting you Fraceman. How's your son like his new bike????????
  5. They changed the clutch spring in 06 not o5,I have had an o6 spring on my 05 300 for over a year with no problems at all. Just set the finger height between 16-17mm, Don't go over 17mm or the clutch will slip! I still have the original style clutch plates in the bike, and I use dot 5 in the clutch m/c not mineral oil. This last mod came from the gasgas importer.
  6. If he put in the new style clutch pack the plates could have been installed incorrectly. You need to measure the thickness of the clutch plates, the thickest one goes in first. The 2 remaining plates should be the same thickness. All the new clutch packs we get in the US are this way

  11. Hi Steve The chain is EK MRDL6, I have been using this chain for a few years ,it's strong ,has lightened side plates and comes in 6 colors. Let me Know when you get it Steve so we can compare notes Don't encourage the kid Copey we already have various carbon guards on the way and have been scoping out the red radiator hoses on TrialsEnduroDirect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Yes it is an 08 125 Racing The picture was taken right after I ran it for the first time. Good eyes Peter, I just ran the motor to warm it up and put the tiestrap on the lever to stop the clutch rattle. And yes that is a CT70 that I'm bringing back from the dead. My son rode the bike in a Trial this past Sunday and of cousre it was muddy, He says that the bike has more low end and mor power overall than his 06 had. He can tell the in the footpeg placement, says it balances better and of course is lighter. The suspension is still a little stiff but overall he's very happy with it
  13. Looks to pretty to ride!!!!!!!!!
  14. Cope ol buddy I have watched you ride !!!!!!!!!!!!! You would need more parts BIKES!!!!
  15. You had better figure out how to add some flywheel weight to the motor if you are going to convert it to manual operation only. A manual conversion was completed by some California guys a few years ago but the bike stalled all the time. The best modification that we did to ours was to replace one of the thinner clutch plates with a thicker one. If I remember correctly there are 2 1.5 clutch plates and 1 2.0. By replacing one of the thinner plates with a thicker one it took all the slack out of the clutch and made it engage at a lower rpm. Hope this helps
  16. www.motocrossdigital.com September issue i think! All that they were talking about replacing was the shift shaft return spring holder that slots into the end of the shift shaft
  17. Mark you should have said These Kids are GOOD!!!!!!!!!! I counted at least 8 kids in that picture that are doing very well! Zeke, David, Homer, Caleb, Josiah, Josh, Ariel, Drew and I know that I am missing some. I just wish that we all lived closer together so we can ride together more often !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steve
  18. Mr Observer please step out from the shadows and enlighten us with your identity. If I read between the line correctly you are making some serious accusations against a man who has made the growth of trials in the US his life's work. It's easy to throw stones when you are hiding, so step out in the open. The same person that rode the Xispa has also rode the new Gas Gas 4t! So step out, We're waiting One of the STOOGES
  19. Al moved earlier this year and is spending all his time remodeling their house. Don't worry he wouldn't miss the world round.
  20. Hey Mark if you happen to have any pictures of my kid I would like to see them!!! Last 2 rounds of the Central Regionals are Nov. 3-4 in Douglas, Kansas . See www.avtatrials.com for info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Noisy Fan

What year Pro is it? If it is one of the newer ones with the rubber cover on the back of the fan, Pull the cover back a put a couple of drops of spray lube on the end of the fan shaft. Won't hurt anything, It stopped mine from squealing
  23. But maybe to the US????????
