    Brake pedals?

Has any one tried the brake pedals sold on ebay UK for 09 up Pro's ? They are over $100 in the US looking for a replacement I can afford!!
  3. Yes a 225 kit would be a great choice but for a lot less money I have another suggestion. I have an 08 racing 125 and my son rides a 09 Raga 125 with a 225 kit and S3 head,I weigh approx 200 lbs [11-12 stone}. I put a OKO 24mm carb,Raga manifold and a flywheeel weight on the Racing 125 and it totally transformed the bike. The bike has more power everywhere, it will pull second gear in places where it never would before.Jitse makes a carb adaptor that is considerably cheaper that the Raga manifold set up, I paid $70.00 for the carb so its cheap enough. As far as the 225 kit goes I think that the Keihn carb is overkill, On our bike the Delorto has plenty of power. When I get the bike next spring I'm going the detune it to smooth it out[black throttle tube, thicker base gasket or low comp. head insert] we alresdy have the flywheel weight on it.
  4. Thanks Copey The Kid had a good month I was helping Cody in the pits all day, In the main he was in last place about 1/2 through the 1st lap then he went to work!! If he can get the starts down he can surely finish in the top 3.
  5. Copey, I don't care how much of that stuff you get It will not help you balance on the bike
  6. Great job Pat !!!!!!!!!!!! We all knew you could do IT How's he look now Dabster???
  7. I'm Back Gone riding all weekend at the Sooner Cup. If you reread my posts no where do I say anything about Pat being World Champion, Granted I'm sure that is his GOAL!! As far as the support, you have more connection than I do so I'll get back to you on that. One more thought, by your standard anyone not winning is an also ran??
  8. I'll say it again TIME WILL TELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Dabster there is a difference, The british lads with no support have at least 10 other british lads with support around to talk to at the least! I'm not making excuses for Pat but no one is making him go back, HE WANTS TO. Let's let his riding do the talking not tear him down before he has another go.
  9. THAT is a very strong statement BUT we will see, I think that Pat has a new commitment and purpose to his riding!!!!!!!!!! Ask anyone who has say him ride in the last 6 months! The EASY thing to do would be to stay home AND BE THE BIG DOG HERE! Pat has set up a very tough schedule for him this year and I for one hope he is very successful
  10. I'll take you up on it and I'm sure that Josh would like to take a spin on it!!!!!!!! Hey Mark we actually ride our bikes
  11. I agree with tricky dicky, on my sons 09 Raga 125 it did the same thing till I removed the springs from the dust seals and put Race Tech seal grease on the dust seals
  12. Send me a list of what you are looking for, I run the parts department at a Kansas Yamaha dealer. I can check availability of any part#, if Yamaha doesn't have the parts I have a few NOS part sources!! Steve
  13. Hey John It's close to Sedan, Just west of Independence
  14. If you guys are finished, back to the subject. My son rode his bike this weekend he said he could really tell the difference in second gear. The bike felt a lot stronger off the bottom
  15. Just put one on my son's 09 Raga 125. He just rode it around the yard says it feels better. We are going to try to practice this weekend so I'll give some feedback. It comes with a blank, std, high and high high compresion head, I installed the high compression in his bike. we live at about 1100 ft above sea level and run VP C-12 / prem unleaded 50/50 mix with Yamaha 2R mixed at 88/1. Steve
  16. You tell me Norm, How about stopping on the loop in Nebraska to see if you need help, the loan of the snips and electrical tape! I know all he people setting in line appreciated the water I offered and the people I helped fix their bikes so that they could finish we're glad that I was there! I'm perfectly able to ride the Nationals but I prefer to help my son,This was his first year to ride the nationals so helping him was my priority. Did I help him? I suppose you would have to ask him but he did well and had fun so I guess we did alright Sure I'm there for my son first but I'll help anyone who asks even direct competition in our class.

    Gasgas Misfire

Check the ground wire that runs to the CDI box. It can pull out of the connector into the CDI box giving intermittent contact. You can't tell by looking, pull the plug and check all that all the contacts are even. Be careful when you reinstall the plug the grond wire is just long enough to reach. I have seen this happen to one 08 125 and to me on an 07 300 after removing the light harness

    S3 225 Kit

Hey Steve hows the weather up north??????? Not yet I ordered the kit today for a friend, I'm going to install it on a 2006 125. Eventually though that red Raga is going to get one installed on it. I was going to get a kit for our bike but I was talked out of it by Rick Land, He says that my son is just starting to use the 125 the right way.

I'm interested to know what jetting was used with a dellorto carb????????
  22. No negatives that I remember, clutch just engaged a lot quicker. Only special tool was needed was a to mill down a socket to get the clutch nut loose. I can't remember the size for sure but it was a 13,14,or 15mm
