Can Someone Please Explain How Wiggy Lost?
Sorry ,but a Momentary pause on any section has to be a five , if you start showing leinience then where do you draw the line ? Stop for a nano-second , a second ? count to 3 ? I don't care what rules we run to, as long as the rules are enforced ONE WAY , OR THE OTHER !

Can Someone Please Explain How Wiggy Lost?
How can you give a clean for that if you are running 'no-stop' rules ? Isn't the wording 'No-stop' clear enough ? If you stop , it's a five . No ifs or buts. When i stop , i get a five When the top boys stop ? Remember the rules , if the front wheel spindle stops moving forward , it's a five. If the rules are not going to be enforced , then the rules will not work.

As per usual some have you have gone off topic Please view the following video and decide for yourselves if this is the way you think No-Stop at National Level should be . Take note of Alexz Wiggs reaction to the 'clean' ride.

Colmore Cup - Non Stop Rules.
The reason why you don't follow me on that one old trials fanatic may be because you live in an area blessed with perfect trials land. I suggest you come down to say the south midland centre and get a more balanced view of the big picture mate. I ride trials all over the country and the reason for this is simple , most of the land round here is crap , trials like the Bemrose ,Reeth 3 day , Longmynd , Dave Rowland , East yorks 2 day ,etc etc are all run at superb venues that provide perfect sections for no stop. I can assure you things are very different down south at some venues. That is why i firmly beleive that a blanket rule EITHER way will not work. The best solution in my opinion would be for the coc to decide on the marking rules based on the venue , conditions etc etc on the day of the event. There is no better section than a long winding rocky stream or huge hillside blast , but please remember that some parts of this country are FLAT !

Colmore Cup - Non Stop Rules.
You are missing the point on the stop/no stop debate on this one . The colmore trial is fortunate in that it has the terrain available to be able to mark out no stop sections.(Although thats not what this thread was initially about) I would say from my own experience that the introduction of an easier clubman route at the Novagar/S3 Champs has had a huge impact on the number of riders entering these events not the introduction of no stop. Pete Scorpa , what was the relevance of your video link of Alexz? Were you trying to demonstrate your views on the stop/no stop debate ?

UK National
First National of the year running under the new 'No-Stop' rules gets 41 entries ? I'm sure thats not the only reason why the entry was so small but do you really think it helped ?

No Stop : not working
I cannot understand why there is a need for change , why are some clubs jumping on the 'no stop' bandwagen ? We have a championship for everyone at the moment , the BTC , Normandale , Sammy Miller , S3/Novagar , Centre Champs , Club Champs etc etc. No stop is great if you have the right venue , but try marking out a no stop trial at some non descript , rubbish tip , flat as a pancake , JCB dug out venue. And what about the kids ? Are they going to practice no-stop on thier bicycles on the way to school, or impress their mates with some trick riding ? Think about it. We as humans need to EVOLVE... If you want to live in the past ....Ride a pre 65. And leave the future alone !

Oxford Ixion Trial - Lower Ridings Results / Comments
Great trial - no complaints , finished by 2pm , whats the problem ? Ride in five centers like i do , you'll get used to all the different route marking systems. 8 double subs is like 16 sections , never gonna get 16 observers (we had 10).usually lucky to get 5 . Keep up the good work Kendo , Gordon and all !

Training Wheels
I used axel mounted training wheels for my 4 year old daughter and would recommend them definatley at that age. We spent loads of evenings on the pavements around the housing estate we live on and after a while i noticed my daughter was leaning to stay level as the contours of the pavement changed. After a few months i took the training wheels off and straight away she just rode off like it was second nature! remember that by this time she had mastered throttle and brake control while not having to worry (or be put off by) falling over and hurting herself. Just be a little carefull with training wheels though - they are ok at low speeds , under say 5-6 mph , any faster and the cornering can be a little hairy as the training wheels tend to try and flip them over the high side.
