Even at a club trial, we watch what happens/is forecasted and its quite accurate nowadays. In belgium in particular i saw 3 sections where a slightly bigger loop and no one would have needed to stop hop and flick to get lined up, easy change no counting to 3.
I blame pasquet for not saying whats a no stop event and getting some changes.
Why isnt Thierry there on th monday helping marking out?
-
sounds like youve never been to a wtc in italy....................
-
factory special, much like Bous bike.
-
Day two at penrith equals spanish sections, no wonder who will do best then?
-
Is that the lets pretend its no stop championship?
Section design by someone who has never heard of no stop SSDT etc etc?
-
no one bought it thats why its not still available.
-
jake and martin spent alot of time looking for somewhere so i guess the answer is No.
-
joke hope the observer is ashamed, raga cant be pleased.
-
Fort william has got nothing better than any other venue ive been to around europe, trucks and finance are the issue.
-
Fort william is too far for most and from its one and only appearence i would guess uneconomical.
As the Belgian round was paddocked in a street and the relaxing of road closure legislation there must be options opening up more centrallly located?
-
Some great points there, no stop was supposed to stop the clean or 5 and to quote thierry "make trial more accessible" i would argue it hasnt because section design has changed so little, and clearly they are riding and marking stop allowed.
-
so because hes a volunteer he shouldnt give Bou a 5 when he stalls kicks it over twice and gets a clean? and if its £25 on the gate why are they volunteers ?
-
I think gratterolla being given a 5 is fair when you consider what he gets away with in italy.
What the italian and french observers have got down to a fine art is the borderline decisions go their riders way and vice versa.
it would be much better to show the british observers this as much as any training in whats right and wrong.
-
be careful not to make it too strong especially on later models as its better to replace the end bit than the bit before!
-
2' 6" is not so bad, but the technique up to 4' is probably the same.
Try this, flat area steady throttle a bit above a slow walking pace.
same thing with a 1 foot drop then a bit more then 2 foot and so on.
if you keep a steady throttle even though the front is in "mid air" it shouldnt drop.
if it drops increase speed slightly or move weight back sort of bum on rear fender so front doesnt drop, too much too quick.
as with all these things set the obstacle that s giving you problems/worries but start small.
does that make sense?
-
what machine does he ride and how old is he? if he speaks english he should do the wtc in england!
-
He didnt ride in any junior championships ever, according to the lists.
-
Think hes having your pants down hes never competed in the Junior or youth world championships, ever. Not under that name anyway.

-
never ever heard of "Tino Marin" who's he?
-
Trailers arent popular in the uk due to speed restrictions as much as anything?
-
There were some with and some without think that 3000 frame numbers onwards had them mostly.
IMHO much better than the steel ones, 3 point fixing. the frames bent with the steel ones rarely with the ally but they have to be ridden hard to cause deflection.
-
..or ride the many acu events as an adult?
-
which class requires a 250cc?
-
get a bucket of water. ride around with the front brake on until it gets real hot then douse with aforementioned. If this improves it then bingo if just a bit better try again then if that doesnt fix it then dig deeper.
Not forgetting that the technique required is to compress suspension AND apply brakes.
-
Id get your cnc mate to make an ally one
