adding a bit in the front pipe helps with bottom end i believe but if you go stainless you will make alot more work.
-
-
changing points on a bulto is part of regular fettling, i wouldnt worry about life of them they will need changing pretty often.
-
I assume you marked the backplate before dismantling?
-
I know nothing about cubs, but i'm guessing matt chambers bike is in thethe "looks ***** but really very trick" style?
-
in direct answer to the original question, a 250.
-
adjust the timing on the points a little see if you can get to 2.5btdc with a smaller gap, its not critical as long as they have a gap.
alternatively move the back plate.
I always adjust my timing on the points btw.

yes ridden a couple of vazquez's and yes ag's is as good. Also rode a puma and that wasnt impressive at all.
-
That is the AG Bikes Bultaco with quite a few mods. To be honest probably better than a Vazquez with the advantage that they speak English, or rather the Swale version of English!
-
Absolutely f up f if you live in aus, but in the uk its seems unusual to not try before you buy?
-
Now I find that really interesting, you are saying that youve never ridden one properly and the one you did have a go on was a 2009? But youve ordered a repsol?
I'm not being daft here but I find that incredible, what are your reasons?
I spoke to a dealer recently and he pretty much said that almost without exception a purchaser will know exactly the bike he wants before he comes in the door and no one can change his mind, but to do that without a proper go on one is surprising to me.
-
Ahhhh never let the wife wash them, just hand wash only and they last well.
-
-
Thats more like it, not sure why theyve made you wait 4/5months tbh?
-
If it rides better then its down to the quality of the shock and set up?
-
put that in your pipe and smoke it! :moon: :moon: :moon: :hyper: :hyper: :chairfall: :chairfall:
-
wrong again. disagree again.
Here we are talking about innovation qualified laterly by you to mean trials bikes.
So, Fi on the ossa is just that (innovative) surely as it has never been on a trials bike before (afaik) so is the ossa a commercial success and if not is Fi on that bike immediately not innovative?
-
I always thought a linkage is a linkage pretty much wherever it is? If its not bottoming out then its set up wrong, surely at the most extreme thing he does maaximum drop off he dare it should, say once or twice a day?
-
really? why is a waterproof breathable sock not better than feet wet with sweat, and cold from such? Bizarre!
-
catch up with matt liberatore hes in your area?
-
Sealskinz are the way to go as for using plastic bags I would strongly suggest no one bothers with this ridiculous idea. If you want a cheaper alternative to sealskinz the goretex army socks as Stehen suggests above are a good second best.
Maybe these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRITISH-ARMY-MVP-WATERPROOF-SOCKS-SIZE-8-10-BLACK-GRADE-1-LIMITED-STOCK-/171246436349?pt=UK_Collectables_Militaria_LE&hash=item27df153ffd
-
perhaps someone could ask Craigs?
-
Also an innovation could be used in racial equality or political correctness but that wouldnt involve success commercial or otherwise?
So, have to disagree with you there dadoff. (and prove your argument is flawed, again)
-
Now you have contradicted yourself.
A delorean and a c5 were innovative as was that areil trike two wheels at the front and that enclosed bmw thingy which one of those innovations was a commercial sucess?
