  1. Which trials market segment? we have segments? Considering the total sales of JTG and Ossa (new innovative brands) and Honda uk with the new 4rt have all struggled to hit sales of nowhere near economic break even, how could vertigo "choose" a sector of an overcrowded over supplied niche market?
  2. So you think it will have a Japanese engine and technically a leap forward? What dadoff are you thinking will that leap be?
  3. Ive had seven vitos two over 100k,never had a diff whine yet, think you were unlucky.
  4. I have always found Boysens to be great, they ve got to be better than original looking at that photo surely?
  5. It is a common thing for the boxes to go. The fix is usually over a grand. One pal has had nothing go the other a gearbox at 60k.
  6. Very good point. Also had you bought a 4rt from sandifords the week before they finished what back up would you have? Ditto Honda uk?
  7. ok. So if I told you there was a dealer who has vast knowledge of the 4rt has been in business with the 4rts longer than all the dealers in the uk put together, has registered several of the imports and could have supplied a repsol to you anytime over the last few months you'd still say no? what back up do you need from a dealer that has no depth of knowledge with perhaps the most reliable trials bike? Why would you want to deal with Honda uk anyway when they cant supply a bike readily available across the channel? (nb by European law they have to help you grey import or not)
  8. But that's not its re sale value till the auction ends?

  11. Don't think there are many shops in Holland at all? try http://www.nonstopmotoren.com/nl/ everyone speaks English so youll be ok to get around
  12. If you don't want a grey import then that's your choice, but why not?
  13. no I didn't it was posted when there was still time left.
  14. resale value here for a 2013 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=331121663645&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:GB:3160 (don't forget its re-sale value is at the auction end)
  15. Rubbish. He is telling you porkies, the repsols have been available in Europe for the past few months. Official dealers cant get them if Honda uk don't have them.
  16. I havnt confirmed anything I was trying to expand on how e bay works in case there is anyone other than you (280i) that doesn't understand it. I am flattered that you think any comment on here could devalue a manufacturer, really? If (really big if) that were the case all it could do would be to transfer the purchase to another make, whats wrong with that? I had answered the original question truthfully and had you not gone off on a tangent questioning my simple short post to let the guy look for himself at the ebay listing then that would have sufficed.
  17. I think if you are waiting for a repsol from one of the 3 official dealers in the uk you may be disappointed, why have you waited so long? I know they have been available for months now?
  18. Im pretty sure the clubfoot was introduced to cover the spark arrester laws in California/states, and as can be seen on the Vazquez/pumas from spain they de-restrict by one outlet pipe. The idea is great, I would try it back to back and see if its noticeably worse / better and go from there.
  19. If you want/need to sell a bike and no dealers will part ex your bike then sometimes e bay is the way to go. It isn't a happy hunting ground for most but as 249 says if you are prepared to travel its ok if you check the bike first. Its the auction value but there is no getting away from the fact that some other makes are easier to sell than second hand ossas and this one has had its gearbox replaced under warranty. The auction hasn't finished yet so when it does that's what its worth on e bay at that moment, yes? Its not an analogy its a fact.

    Rear Brake

toe try to find someone who rides nearby who has a nice clean bike at trials and suggest to said person that you know f all about bikes would they mind popping round just to show you how to do basic stuff. A sherco is very easy to work on and simple regular maintenance can prevent expensive jobs and make your bike easier to ride. anyone near burton on trent?
  21. it sold for 2300 that's what its worth (?) that's $4155.
