No qiute clearly it doesn't and I wasn't saying it was dumbass.
If it is a raga with a kooky ignition and kehin I was suggesting that my view may be completely wrong on THIS model, but that was not what I was refering to or what this thread was about.
Try to keep up and on thread.

He needs to get onto the euro cicuit asap.
-
ooh sorry thought that was for the whole thing!
-
Think the raga has kehin and kokusan (?) which is why I checked if it was a 250.
-
You are wrong, period.
The bike was mine and its 20 miles down the road with my riding pal.
Take a wild guess as to whose advice he is more likely to believe?
Perhaps he can come back on here and tell us what he thinks when he has the switch on?
-
"23kgs" now that is light!
-
As you are the first person I have ever heard of who has filed!!! their slide you need to ride your bike more and put the tools away.
Are you talking about a 250? had 3 of these now and as most remove the switches would suggest that this is probably correct, would like to do a blind test with you on the (my) bike we are talking about here.
May work in the outback but here in the uk most people leave the carbs alone once set as altitude is never an issue.
-
As piggywiggy is refering to my old bike when I played with the switch when this bike was new it made no difference I could tell, but then I don't hold it at 8000 rpm that much.
-
E mail subira he posts on here a bit he got one recently, a macdonald?
-
Yes they do and I think uk dealers can get the bits to do the engines.
Give M sport a call he is a bit of a specialist on trick bits/trw stuff for monts.

Looking at Bous scorecard his second lap was head and shoulders above the rest.

How are the hands tried taking the pi$$ to them yet?

I actually believe that there is a big difference between those that died and gave their lives in the two world wars and those dying now. I choose my job and so did they.
Not one death whenever or however is justifiable but we are "free" because of the sacrifice, bravery and sense of duty that we all perhaps don't have so much of now, and those conscripted gave willingly and wholeheartedly for all of us here and now. They had no choice.
Just the same as some on here don't want to give 50p for youth trials many can't or won't worry about the two minutes silence. The troops need more kit then ask for voluntry contributions on top of tax and see how many give, not that many I bet.
I feel todays society (possibly due to the thatcher years) has moved on from colllective resposibility to the me and now.
Just the same as the guy complaing about police inaction on stolen bikes, what has he ever done to help others but he complains when it happens to him as if he wasn't at fault ever in any way.
So rant over, two minutes absolutely yes, no trials well thats counter productive in my view. There is a time and a trial would be as good a place as any for an older wiser person to say a few words to the youngsters who may not really understand what the day and the 2 minutes is all about, tell them how it was and why the proceeds from their entry fees is going to support those who gave much, much more.

Never did on mine no difference till 8000 i'm sure of it.
How fast is your tickover?
-
Is that where the chickens come from?

Were they all? Surely they weren't making 340's and 250's with different gearboxes?

So what does a scorpa 4t sound like then?
Not like a motocrosser! Curious to hear the new ones, with the single outlet exhaust. Hopefully, it doesn't make it louder. The dual outlet exhuast did a good job of minimizing that 4-stroke bark, that many find offensive. At a trial, we used to laugh at how much the Scorpa souded like an old Honda trail bike, coming through the woods, while the Montesa didn't sound like a Honda at all. I still have my 1970 Honda SL-100, and was always amazed at how similar my Scorpa SY250F sounded. Same mechanical cam-chain sound, and all. I have a Beta REV-4T on the way now, so I am anxious to see what it is like. All the input I have received reports it to be the most quiet, of them all, so far.
You haven't heard Freixas' then!
No whats it sound like
A yzf unsurprisingly.

Think thats where the ploblem lies me old mate, I get plenty of free time to ride my bike but nowhere to do it... I am just trying to give myself the best chance and as I cant ride anywhere the gym is the only option it seems
