where are you??????????????????????????????
Where have you looked????????
-
You tightwad, sticky backed plastic, lets call it a blue peter limited edition then shall we. Buy a new one and get it shipped out to the UEA as part of your first months wages? Bet its small change to you now?
-
-
It may well pay you to wait a week or so and see what Raga's and more to the point wiggies Gsser will look like.
Both have mountains of red and wiggies is really tidy, apparently for sale after sheffield as well!
Will try to get a photo up here.
-
I don't but some are head bolts and some through studs so if you translate the values and detail from six to 8 it wont be far wrong.
-
-
Thats actually one of the bigger sections which as usual looks smaller in a photograph.
I was doing fine until the bike ran out of fuel and the lights cut out halfway up a bank, bu99er.
Quite a few reasons for the move honestly;
1. I really think that the 4rt is better on beck type clubman sections, mainly due to the suspension.
2. I have always had a prejudice against montesas since I was a bulto man but this is 2007 and not 1977, so thats daft.
3. I was never sure about my gas gas till I got one and had it a few months, and have had some really good rides on that so felt that curiosity could only be satisfied by getting one.
4. From what I can gather the 07 and 08 are a notch up on the previous so think that the wait was best.
5. I like the idea of being able to program the thing.
-
they get put on, it only comes with repsol 'gaurds the rest of the bits are in a box.
me said it was a tlr are you sure?
Well I have always had a thing about montesas you know......................(!)
-
Yep I saw that there was a specific loctite reference in the manual, assume the design requires it?
-
Thanks, had a look at the manual earlier but couldn't find it!
-
Does anyone know the torque settings of the mont rear wheel spokes?
-
That would be Allens performance then?
-
Well trust me the northern shops aren't any better afaik and have seen. Get the feeling eh, thats objective. BVM are good perhaps one of the best, support your dealer.
-
Martin Sandiford at the dirt bike show said any day now, thursday might be a lucky day for me?
-
There are some ohlins here in the uk specifically for shercos.
-
10% is as good as it gets for new dealer supplied I think. Good job.
-
If there is a better stocked Trials shop than BVM in the UK then I'd like to know about it!
-
Have I got this right, John Darwin reappears and a few weeks later, before the "Trial" Dom disappears to the UEA????????????
Some connection there surely?
-
Allens performance leicester(?)
-
Was that the one with the tractor incident?
-
Even this labourer knows that if raga can compete indoors on a lighter frame it must be strong enough, and the pictures would tell any engineer how or is that just too obviuos to be true? Remind me how many international indoors you've seen?
-
Builders labourer eh, now wheres that thatcher quote of yours "I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single argument (sic) left".
No I'm not an engineer, but if you think an mx bike and trials require the same motor and different gearbox well, bring on the builders!
-
For someone building his own engine looks like you have alot to learn!
The front pipe on a Gas Gas is steel so if you change that to Ti then the saving there is significant.
If you read the story in full "they" claim a weight saving by using a different section for the frame.
The carbon back box must save a bit over ally as well, and so on.
Keep up.
Same engine to do trials mx and enduro, ambitious!
-
There are no trials on the road in the south midland centre, except maybe wycombe?
-
Frame lighter, carbon bits lighter, think it has less gears, ti bits (fair bit on exhaust alone), 6 kgs is possible but must be on the limit.
Maybe measured with a full tank of fuel and indicators on standard bike!
