So what does a scorpa 4t sound like then?
-
Somewhere a little bell is ringing that says there was mention of deals being put together, but I can't be 100% sure.
Have you ever been to Stranraer? It's a bugger of a place to get to. Far better doing Liverpool - Belfast.
Thanks for that I'll hold fire.
-
Any one know how to get a cheap(er) ferry to belfast for the wtc next year?
-
Well m sport strikes again, perhaps if you can diagnose faults instantainously from a forum perhaps you can answer this, when the are 2008 4rts landing in the UK.
-
I think as its jack's twenty first, he won't mind me saying a few thought he may not be that good when it was first announced.
How wrong they were, he has done a terrific job this year and the set up at TRW has allowed him to take on a role very similar to all the other top lads minders, in so much as he simply catches and is in the section lining up and advising. I think in the wtc he doesn't actually have any responsibility for mechanical issues.
In my opinion he fits perfectly into this role, but almost more importantly he is with James for training and practice pretty much 24/7 (I think). This is why Alexz has gone down the trw route i belive, as no one can turn up and ride anymore its the number of hours on the bike imbetween that improves a rider.
One thing I noticed last year was the top man practiced hardest and longest.
-
Mail me I have them, as stated on 2008 thread. Need your e mail address as its an attachment.
Be prepared they aren't good.

Looking for a rear wheel hub from a fantic with sprocket on the opposite side to the brake drum, is this a 125 from 82?
-
Thats exactly why I infered earlier that we might as well live in a state of anarchy (metaphorically speaking) as the police have been made to be ineffective by political legislation. There is not enough of them to be of much use & as you say they obviously consider theft not worth the persuit considering their rescourses & idiotic sentencing from judges. In other words the only guardian you have is your insurance policy concerning your property & possessions but when it comes to being protected against worse, well you are'nt & neither will you get justice in the UK if they are caught. As you say Bikespace, the only way is to make your own justice but remember the judge will always sympathise with the low life because he is equally as lowly.
This dead horse do you want to flog it some more?
-
What a good idea but wouldn't it end up as a ringers benefit?
-
Think that is a great post and a reality check for those above that think thier experience is the norm, police are all *******s and don't give a damn.
Its just a shame we don't value those that do a good job and report the cases where the police are helpful and willing, but thats not good news is it?
-
Always used to be at 16 you can ride as an adult novice unrestricted cc has it changed?
-
if anyone wants a copy mail me
-
Well what we need is a good leader, someone who can tell it like it is.
send all the immigrants back and purify the race.
line all the gypsies and homosexuals up and well, you know the rest.
Germany tried this and history gcse will tell you what happened next.
Whilst I have every sympathy with someone who has had his bike stolen and there may well be alot of truth in the police's (in)ability or time to deal with such things please be realistic.
The stretch to anachy in the UK is one giant leap from police apathy on stolen bikes.
Perhaps if you think you can do better then you should joining the police service?
-
Call me Brian as the lads are going to Sardent and that should suit you too, I think.
-
Are you coming to the buzzards trial at adstone???
Nah
would have liked to though have just got back from a holiday so won't have time to get ready.
Jack
Bit lame that jack, its a good trial and sizzlers will be there, its a brko trial too you know, think of those championship points????
Isn't there someone who could give you a lift?
-
I never think anyone bothered with the condenser outside except SSDT or maybe the scott. They don't fail that often and we used to change points and condenser anyways.
I could be wrong but think two coils would induce current at different times?
-
Get yourself up to the Buzzards trial at Adstone on Sunday all wellcome.
-
Are you coming to the buzzards trial at adstone???
-
It will never catch on.
Yes I was there!
Bou spent an hour or so and managed it maybe 10 times, but only a few cleans.
Think raga did it once, cobos tried it a few times as did Freixa.
This is one of the reasons i find the wtc so appealing.
It actually was a fair bit harder in real life.
-
Beg to differ on this point Julian, it's (IMO) Alexz' fault. It's his ride and he's responsible for making sure everything's fine & dandy whether or not he worked on it.
M2CW
Possibly tft, but were you at 15 16 and 17 a better mechanic than someone who has been at it for 40years?
Doubt it. To expect a schoolboy to check his machine, every nut and bolt a bit unrealistic,
(It might be a shed in winslow now, but some say it will be a smart workshop soon............ )
-
The capacotor is usually in the ignition is this the only one on the bike?
Wouldn't trust that tape on the coil either.
-
Well yes they were, Rhoda had locked the spare in the car and was not nearby so rastus through the wheel through the back window to get at the spare, apparently........
-
As both John Shirt and Sandifords and others gave products for the Scott charity Auction, ie give money to charity they aren't all that bad are they?
How much did you do for others that weekend?
It is very pertinent what ishy says as despite Shirty giving reports on the gas gas viewpoint I would hazard a guess that his "reports" of the British Championships have mentioned Jarvis many more times than the Sherco reports (where are they?)
I have no intrest either for or against sherco , for example, and I still subscrbe to their mailnews, just because I do. If it was put to the vote I am absolutely convinced that a massive majority of tc would prefer to have reports, either biased or otherwise, on this site.
What is the difference between a shirtys say and an hrc sherco wiggy or danby report, they are all valid and valuable, and by the number of views very popular.
As for reliability, I think that in the 3 years that I have closely followed the WTC/uem/bc and the youth in particular, Alexz and Ross have had one dnf in what must be over 200 rides at the toughest highest level.
The Gas Gas pros I have had have been 100% and with each model have been better and I would reccomend them to anyone.
-
Points of information here,
UEM and fim are on same weekends?
UEM Youth/ladies are different weekends?
Japan and USA FIM does this affect any youth apart from Challoner?
If it doesn't then speak to him?
ditto Norway?
-
As ktm don't make a trials bike and the finnish championship is hardley high profile guess its allright?
Assume his car isn't a KTM too?
