Think he's going for an 07 or 08 apparently.
(Good deals on 07's)
-
Thanks.
Will tell him about the bolts.
Are hangers rear set?
-
As you well know Boyd I am happy to give advice to anyone, how much use it is is another matter!
well done at the scott by the way.
-
who perce or tubby? surprisingly these are two different people.
-
Not really interested in bling and spray jobs, but I do like the idea of whats good to alter/ easier to work on.
A friend of mine is thinking of trying to sort his a bit what would peps suggest??
Heard a sherco rear brake is good, perce said you need a bashplate, anything else worth the effort?
-
Think john hulme would like it, he does feature that stuff in YOU HAVE USED WORDS OR A PHRASE WHICH ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THIS WEBSITE. PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST/TOPIC. DO NOT TRY TO CIRCUMVENT THE FILTERS IN PLACE ON THIS WEBSITE.

Perhaps the mike may have lasted longer if tubby hadn't SHOUTED SO MUCH!!!
-
I was at section 38 and at that stage he was 2nd arrival, meaning he had roughly half the course with no one to pass, or get held up by either in sections or on one track moors.
This section was probably possible for me to ride, but by the time ten had passed it was very difficult indeed, Dibs got stuck for ten seconds I think and these type of delays add time and effort to those following.
Knowing the course helps as well.

I think that Alexz benefitted greatly in 2006 from riding the British Expert route (think he won it actually) so for the top 5 its superb and without doubt great that these lads get experience of minders fim stop rules time(?) etc etc. I am sure ross did too, sam and lee as well so this is essential to keep in.
The scrubbing isn't really an issue at all as the practice lap takes care of this to some extent and sections at some events I saw actually were better earlier.
The whole youth calender does not revolve around this there are lots of other factors as mentioned here and on the other thread.
-
I think there is more mileage in giving the rounds to Clubs like richmond who put on probably the best round in 2006, in many peoples view.
They certainly have the land facilities and experience, so it would be good for them to be given another chance.
-
Would jack not be bothered if he couldn't contest the A class?
I can't think there is anyone else it would affect? If this is the case then the argument for avoiding A & B clashing with FIM is negated.
UEM & FIM may be different, but Norway wouldn't be on everyones list to do anyhow.
Also isn't the April date you mentioned the USA who does that clash with in the youth Challoner? No one else?
-
Its a local event and more than wellcome open to anyone, love to see you there. Sensible sections.
Try and save up or buy a registered bike. (Did I say I've got one for sale!)
-
Surely that is what happens with the invited youth.
The ACU have allowed the top 6 or so each year to ride the sections and thats great. Wiggy and danby and now challoner have all had some great experience at expert BC level so have the oppurtunity to bypass the experts having done it at youth, and wiigys done well to get 4th in his first year, surely the fast track we need.
Its important to see the bigger picture and not to try to "mould" the series to suit any individual needs.
Ben Morphett is 15(?) and doing the expert champs as a youth isn't that what you want?
The fact that it has no championship status isn't really the issue surely?????
-
combine the euro and world and you get buy one get one free, sinilar to the mens and junior uem now.

However innaccurate can we see the 2008 calendar?????

As a suggestion, I would wait to see who is the UK importer first
Saw one in the flesh (the only one?) in Andorra and it looks ok quality wise.

Two things trials specific I have is the beeders (mentioned lots before I know) and a cable oiler those little aluminium things which you squirt down wd 40 or similar to oil cables.
For gas gas I have a ground down 19 for the brake pivot.
WHYG?
-
Absolutely.
This is why I am such an advocator of beeders and cannot understand why everyone doesn't have one in their toolbox along with a cable oiler and the like. (good topic this?)
I spent hours on hours one saturday trying to seat a michelin using straps tubes and inflatable things, then went out and ordered a beeder from spain for
