Dad off i am quite surprised you even have an interest in what I ride. Its a shame you werent at the Normandale National yesterday and saw the vast numbers of what was probably the most popular choice of bike in the most popular over 50 class. All these riders with reliable bikes that got them to the end of the trial and at their age I suppose they should know better? Well if vast experience and Knowledge is anything to go by these older riders in a reliability National clearly disagree with your over used and skewed view of the Gas Gas marque. And not only GG but betas and shercos even fantics all without see through tanks on a two lapper road trial managed to get to the end without running out of fuel........... Strangely not one gearbox cranckcase kick start or lower frame was broken. Vertigo breaking bolts in an indoor cos the bikes too light? Thats a big leap to take and making you look sillier than we thought. Ossa dog bone trouble? Thats hardly a worry is it and how is that related to lightness?

I bought a new 250 from Windsor comp shop in 79, then had a 325 81/82 then a 340, then had that modified by Reg May at comerfords with the pivot points etc moved. each consequent model was better, and im confident the Comerfords bike handles better than my Italjet which is 84 I think.

Thankfully you are in the minority (again) see through whilst very practical on longer events has been superseeded by a reserve position on the fuel tap, and they look crap. I actually think that these things are not a sod at all, if sherco 4 stroke ossa and jtg had gone through public failures at the proto stage then it would have been much better. you have berated gas gas over and over again based from what i can see mainly historical failures but surely a prototype development stage irons out problems yet you are now saying its wrong? FFS!!!! I am pleased to see the vertigo out there being proved before i buy one, thats good surely?

Im guessing you havnt looked in on the gas gas factory recently like me? ALL the manufacturers buy in 95% components (roughr guess) very few manufacture, they are all assembly lines. Pretty sure Sherco (ive been round Twice) make nothing

Trying to keep you on thread and accurate. Gas gas have one (1) truck for wtc and its very old, had it for years. Production has been halted for " a few days". I for one would buy one if i thought they would go bust, wish id done the same with Bultaco. In case you haven't heard Jorge Casales has gone beta. They have very little rider support and Raga employs his own minder. Lastly werent you buying a jgas then declined because of a wait, or was that someone else (cant be bothered to remember) but point being if they cant supply to peeps waiting for bikes what kind of business model is that to aspire to?

Its clearly two things, Spain is still struggling financially and this is reflected in sales/credit available. As the debt is increasing a line must be drawn. What I cant get my head round is that (with economies of scale) if GG dont make money no one does? How do any of them keep going? Did they really sell 9000 bikes in 2014?
