  1. Suggestion. Why don't you ring the ACU on the phone number on the website and ask them to clarify the status of you application and if you gave been charged £10. When the license is applied for correctly the ACU are quite good and usually have the license sent out within a day or two !
  2. Hi, When you apply for a license online you have to complete the form which will ask for a ref number from your club. Îf you don't have one the ACU will issue a ref number for you from an ACU affiliated / appointed club which from memory is either £10 or £15 as opposed to paying £5 from your local trials club. From memory if you had a ref no from your club this would have cost you £5 and the licence would have been £10. If you did not supply a ref no and left this to the ACU they will charge you either £20 or £25.
  3. Hi ! You mention you have spent around £550 on the bike since you got it ! Unsure if all of the things you've changed were actually worn out etc or you have done this for your own piece of mind. Local guy to us just sold one of these. Same year, model with pants, helmet, boots and bike rack for £1100. IMHO I'd say between £800 and £1100. All of the new bits you've added will surely make it an attractive buy for someone as it's all stuff they should not need to shell out for.
  4. Hi ! I usually work on 0.5 to 0.75 of an inch up and down play in the middle of the upper chain run. Another check is you should be able to slide your finger in between the chain block and the bottom of the swingarm. You should be ok with this !
  5. I'd say it's at least an 06 model possibly a little newer. Your correct in that the last of the 05 models did indeed have the chrome frame.
  6. Hello there, On a more modern theme. I've had a Montesa 4rt in the boot of a Mercedes. Dropped the front end ( forks, front wheel and mudguard complete ) slid out of the yolks. You can either remove the caliper or the brake master cylinder from the bars. Bar clamps loosened to fold bars down and remove the rear wheel and mudguard. This leaves you with a lump about 3.5ft long and 2ft high. About 10 mins work and it went straight into the boot. Simples !!! Oh and plenty of the wife's best bath towels incase I caught the bodywork. Where there's a will there's a way ! !!
  7. Hi there, The 10th digit down from the top on the frame number denotes the year. Eg, 8 = 2008. On the later models from 2009 I believe that was when the last of the frames were built so you could have a 2010 - 2013 bike but the frame will still show the no 9. If the one your looking at is one of these later models and it's road reg'd the V5 should show the year on manufacture / registration. Hope this helps.
  8. Could be the bike was dropped and maybe the throttle was stuck on full chat until the engine lunched itself. You may never know the truth about what has happened to cause this. Like some of the earlier posts ! What is the new owner expecting from you ?.

  11. Dave, I believe Longframlington is signposted off the A1 north of Morpeth. Once your on that road I'm sure you will find it ok or if your earlier enough your bound to see the vans / trailers with bikes. I'm going tomoz but I've never been before. Good luck !
  12. With pictures like that you should post on here as often as possible and practice your English. Are these the new 2014 models ? Bodywork looks great and seating area looks spot on !!

    Evo Plastics

Hi there, Plastics, both front and rear from the 2010 / 11 and 12 will fit your own 09 bike. Not sure about 2013 plastics tho ! Hope this is useful ! L.
  14. Instead of going to all this trouble can you drop them down a touch through your yolks ?.
  15. Hi there, I've had similar problems. You can post the ad no problem but it won't let you add pic's. To get round this I normally post the ad then go back in to "manage my ads / listing" and select edit media.! You should then be able to attach your pic's ok and then submit your revisions. Hope this helps. L.
