It will be exciting if the championship comes down to the final rounds.
Reading the reports about the waves, all had to ride the same sections and it looks like Raga, got a five with his bike getting a salty wash in one section, wouldn't like to buy one of them drowned bikes. I think the next two rounds in Japan and the USA will see the riders settle down into a more familiar order, probably the Mont lads will get their machines booked into the HRC department for some further tuning and new mods.
Shame for Caby, choking on the last section of the day, but that's what it's all about, I see Fajardo was riding, he could be back on song for the next two rounds.
Nothing looks certain for who will be the 05 world trials champion that for sure.

And this with it ?
The straps are sewn to the pack so it stays in place once you pull the straps tight
-
-
Single compartment, so you need to wrap your tools in a cloth, for a more comfy ride
-
Here thi goes K, the little flat hooks just hook to your fender any location and then tighten the straps
-
Doug!! if your done wi that towell, could you let this lad use it
"Raga 2nd : The result is not so bad, but it has been a bad day. I accept I have made some mistakes, but the control in the sections has showed that they are amateurs today. This is meant to be a professional championship, but it is hard to understand when we have people who are in control who do not under stand the rules. I came here to ride and to win, not to fight all the day. Second place is OK for the championship as it is going to be a long race, with several riders who have the possibility to win some rounds and also the title."

Don't be tight K, tart the girl up a bit.

"They don't make them like they used too" I for one am glad they don't
The trials market is very small, and over the years manufacturers of trials bikes come and go, a competitive good looking, easy to ride trials bike will sell, a poor machine won't.
Waiting for the arrival of a new machine I have been riding the 92 Honda TLM 260, the build quality is exceptional and the bike runs so sweet, but what a boat, I'm knackered after half an hour on the thing, numb heavy and just hard work to ride, get on any of the new models and the difference is night and day.
I have noticed over the years the lads who prepare their bikes and take good care of them, have very few problems, those who put it away after each ride with little more than a second glance, always seem to be repairing and replacing parts just before the start of events.
If you really like the feel of a machine and it lets you ride to your full potential, sticking with that machine over a period of time helps a lot just by the familiarity of knowing how they should be set up, maintained and how to do it.
Many times it's not the bike fault something fails, people don't often mention the fact it sat submerged in a mud hole half the day, or they forgot to add oil to the mix, tighten loose bolts, spokes, chain, etc.....
I often see air filters open to the eliments because someone thought the zip tie is cheaper than a new fender, it pops off and doesn't get replaced untill after the event and the airbox is nicely packed with the local terra.
Also on the other hand if you think you got burned on a bike purchase, and you get no help in correcting the problem, it's only you who can make the decision on what you will buy next time.
As for the topic! it serves no other purpose than **** stirring

Aye, he'll be getting one of them red buggers if they don't shape themselves, I'm not fussy.
-
The good news is RYP USA uncrated one for demos on Tuesday, and it will be at the nationals this weekend.
The bad news I won't be getting one untill the end of May, that is when it sounds like the first batch will arrive for a few lucky punters.
-
I don't think Doss, would be the type to let anyone sqeeze in
-
That sounds scary Martin, just makes you think a bit, something so close.
Glad you all can walk away from it.
-
Anyone have any news on Martin Belair, I hear he was in an accident on his way to the nationals this weekend ?.
Hope all is well Martin, let us know.
-
Bummed!! I too could of been getting a skin burn
-
Then you need to check float level, and the little rubber washer in the fuel tap, as they get older they get worn and leak even when the tap is turned off.
-
Looks like the old Ben is warming up nicely for you lads to get your tan

-
Sounds like the old girl is loaded up, needs a good thrashing down the road or a big hill-climb, will smoke like Kinell at Trotters for a while, and then should start to clean up.
-
Gear the buggers up lads, if DEFRA have thier way you'll only be able to ride the buggers at Cadwell park
-
How long till two strokes are Banned!!
I think banned is the wrong word, more how long untill two strokes are no longer allowed in world champioship trials would be closer to the mark.
-
Well we got a taste of things to come outdoors last weekend , section difficulty on a par with World championship, and results a lot closer than what we have seen indoors.
I think four riders are in with a chance of winning the world championship this year and regardless of machine, could come down to who wants it the most, we could see one of the tightest fought championships for a long time.
Steve, I'll bet thi $50 Raga doesn't claim the outdoors
-
Stevo, David had a bad knee injury, rushed it to get back in the game, never rode up to is potential after the injury, the leg never healed and had to quit trials on advice from his doctor.
Jeroni, is in a tough position, and this is an important season, but two weeks to heal a broken leg? may come back and bite them in the ass, I can see some top ball player wanting to get back for the multi million bonus, but all this lad will get if it doesn heal properly is a limp for the rest of his life.

Just got back from the club local trial, and read the Spanish championship round one results, nice win for Albert, hope he gets a few more in the WR.
I sold my 05 sherco 2.5 a couple of weeks back so only options for machinery this weekend was the 200 Fantic, or the Pentax, rode the Pentax, but hell I'm sore! what a numb heavy bugger when your struggling, bugger pinned me down on the ground in one section and wouldn't let me get up
Hope the four banger gets here pretty sharp I"ll bi deed lugging that numb sod round any more trials.
New bikes are miles easier to ride, don't care what any bugger says.
