  1. Trialero, will you be at the first Spanish championship round this weekend ? Should be quite the event all the top riders trying to get the one up before the start of the WC, and if true to form they will be WC type sections. Who will be lowest score come Sunday ????????????
  2. When I emailed the FIM on a date! this is the reply I got. Thank you for your email. Following your question, please note that the 2-Stroke engines are still accepted for the moment and will remain so until their homologation has ended. Best regards. This to me looks like nothing is set in stone, and when and if! it does come into being will only stop competitors riding 2 strokes in FIM sanctioned events. Also reading the Sherco press release on the 4T it mentioned they will still make the two stroke as long as there is a market for them, they also stated that the 2 strokes met homologation standards until the year 2008.
  3. Why worry about when the two stroke motor will no longer be produced, by then you will have to nip behind the bike shed to start the bugger up anyway. [Q] fromTMX There was no option – just an effective ban. The net is closing in on all who wish to pursue country-based past-times – unless you are a rambler of course. [Q]
  4. Bloody hell Dabster, she aged a lot better than you did
  5. Could you post pictures of your wifes, seen all the bikes before, but I may not of seen all of your wifes
  6. Isn't that just what a works world round bike is!! all of the above
  7. I don't know how the GG air box is set up, on most bikes I have seen you have intake air, filter and then the volume of the airbox with a drain on the carb side of the filter.
  8. What stops the bit of sponge getting sucked through the motor ?
  9. Do they have the old style on off switch that honda uses
  10. Weather, no dual lane races, high jump, mud, water, loose rocks, grip, amount of practice outdoors compared with amount indoors, Fuji never has performed indoors like he does outdoors, why could he and Lampkin not win the indoors last year on two strokes but could be firat and second on them outdoors. The top three indoors this year will ride well outdoors, but we won't see them with half the score of riders like Lampkin and fuji. Next weekend will be a good indicator with all the top riders riding the Spanish championship round.
  11. Are you riding Carlos ? if so how is it going so far ?

  15. I read this on the Todo trial forum today. Probably won't be long to we start seeing them about. You come to the SANTIGOSA in the park closed already are several sherco 4T prepared to leave tomorrow. You will hallucinate. We waited for in Santigosa the Wild i by hand to you sherco hand

  17. It should be 450, don't know why I was thinking 350
  18. I put the BJ racing clutch mod on my 125, the restrictors were out of the exhaust when I got the bike but ended up putting a aftermarket rear silencer/ spark arrester on. The clutch mod works great and is still cable actuated, knurled plates, perch and lever assembly and better quality cable, all for less than a hundred quid. I kept the bike as a 125 because it did run spot on, and the ones I tried with the bore kit didn't run as well, could be just down to tuning, but I think it's a great little clubman's bike and works good in beck holes and traditional type sections, once on bigger stuff it was lacking in power to get up them with no run, this was the same on the 125 sherco also. Only other gripe would be the skid plate, sloped forward from the rear mounting bolts, I often got hung up on logs I didn't on my Sherco. Bottom line, great little bike, lacking power on bigger stuff.
  19. I have run my kids Sherco 50 for over two years, when I first saw the filter system I thought it didn't look up to much, so fitted a bit of filter foam in!! it didn't work, the bike wouldn't breath properly so ran poor. The stock system cleaned and then a foam filter oil applied works well, and when you take the carb off for cleaning it is surprising how well it keeps it clean, just don't over do the filter oil.
  20. Al do you have a source for the rear spokes for the kids 50 ? Thanks, Ishy.
  21. Most of the SSDT observers are well seasoned, and for the most part score to the book, however I noticed last year when time was tight and some of the sections had been tightened up a bit they scored a bit more lenient. I'm with g4321, on this though, my point being why make harder sections and be more lenient on the scoring ? I would make the sections easier and be stricter on scoring. The C of C in any event has to make the sections accommodate the rules, full no stop and the sections need to flow, stop and hop and the sections can be tighter.
  22. Cabestany, must of been constipated.
  23. The fact the expert class is over subscribed, shows that barring the few who ride the champ lines this should be the standard of the British championship. So what!! if the few at the top find it too easy, the best British rider doesn't even ride the series, it's time the governing bodies started making the sport more realistic to the public and getting more people riding for a year end standing. Nothing wrong with a good tough trial, but the stunt show hasn't improved rider or spectator participation, just added a lot more work for nowt. Time the boff's woke up and took a look at the state of the game.
