  1. So the spokes from the 315r fitted the TLR hub? Very interested in this as I was hoping to fit a tubeless rim on my TLR 200.

  3. WOW! Brilliant, I wouldn't know where to begin.
  4. Splendid work, truly impressive.

Old tread but still very useful - just bought a TLR myself.
  6. Thanks everyone that's just the sort of input I'm looking for.
  7. Just bought a TLR! Yes the rims had started to rot a cup brush on an angle grinder shifted it quickly enough! Starting to go through the bike, cleaning and replacing bits as I come across problems, old posts are useful.
  8. I'm 4 stone lighter, does having the shocks canted over from vertical increase the force or decrease it?
  9. I was also thinking of getting a Shedworks cherry bomb exhaust header pipe, anyone got any experience good or bad?

I've recently purchased a TLR200, It needs new shocks, what spring rates have people gone with? 40 or 50 lb springs? I was looking at getting these: http://www.smproducts.co.uk/products/suspension?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.v9.tpl&product_id=601&category_id=25
  11. My tyre is still good after the SSDT advise - holds pressure for a trial with no problem - even at 3 psi for a muddy trial but goes flat between times. I see my previous link no longer works! Here it is courtesy of Motomerlin. Beta-Evo-2011-SSDT-Tips.pdf
  12. I use 75:1 oil ratio, I find it runs well and not smokey. PJ1 oil.
  13. David Silver?
  14. I'll investigate the TR34 more carefully. The XL 250 engine could be sold on... Forks - what weight oil and how much? Do you measure a volume or distance down from the top of the fork tube with/without springs inserted.
  15. Original plan was to use the forks, wheels, brakes, bars etc for a little twin shock project that's on the back burner at the moment.
  16. Bought this last week. Suspension linkages at the rear are very loose, no bearing in the top of the steering head & the front wheel is badly buckled, oh and the engine doesn't run either.
  17. Do Z spokes preclude lacing a TY hub to anything else? What are Z spokes anyway?

    Thanks tlrmark!

Should there be any end float?

Another exhaust question. What's the OD of the header pipe on a TL125? Thanks
  21. Keep the fuel topped up!
  22. Thanks Bashplate that's a start.
  23. Anyone know the OD and lengths (approx) of the twin pipe headers on this engine?

Am I being daft? I see no pictures!
  25. 11 toot sprocket arrived from Talon very promptly, fits beautifully. I hacked the frame about and the engine sits in with the gearbox output nicely lined up with the swinging arm pivot. I might re-do the bottom tubes though - bit messy looking. Next on the to do list are some engine mounting plates.
