You'll have a hard time finding a "Tyre Shoppe" in the phone book in Sin City.

I don't like the idea of mandating techinal things.
Didn't like it in F1 either!
The bike should just be the best they can be for the purpose
they are made for.
Want a seat, big tank ect? Buy a vintage bike or a kit.
However, as far as weight, you could add at least 10 pounds
to a bike and equal it out by putting helium in your tires.
Front is about 6 pounds of air and rear is 4 or so.
That equals 10 pounds! That's why I never fill my air tank
all the way up, it just weighs too much if I do.
-
If you have one laying around, could you measure it for me?
I need a part number on one that's 220mm eye to eye.
Thanks.

I'm like Charlie, the drug store gave me a little 4 oz. cough syrup bottle that's perfect for mixing. Most of the time I only go to 2 gallons though and leave room for sloshing to help mix it. So I run richer than some, but my son's on a Rookie and it tends to get it's, um ti ah well lets see here, oh, it's get's run at a higher RPM more often than my bike does.

I hope both will be at the TTC training they will be having for the older
kids as well as Stevie Darrow.

I don't know anything about cubs (except I want one) but your probably right
with the carb problem. Seems most four strokes have a problem with off idle
coughing. The air needs to be sped up to atomize properly. A small carb works
and sometimes retarding the timing a little.
For something easy turn you idle screw up some.

Would that be sheep riders?

Great photo's love those pre 65 bikes!
Thanks
-
I wish we had a few of those over here.
-
Dan,
any information on vendor spaces?
-
Ridge, looking back on the post I sound disrespectful, sorry about that.
I'm looking at the World Round American rider as if I were watching the Olympics or a Football game. Do I care? Just from a underdog, root for my team angle.
What's MORE important to me? Club Trials.
-
Hey Charlie, I've been to BOTH. Bristol Va & Bristol Tn.
-
Craig, I think 95% of us riders are in that 5% bracket!????
-
OK all, who's coming to the World Round and how will we know who you are?
I'll be the fat guy polishing all the trophies.
-
Hey Bob, next time I'll hold that sandwich for ya.
-
Float level?
Richening up when the back is raised eventually flooding it out?

I'm not one to ague but titanuim is a very bad heat conductor.
Aluminum is 87.7 BTU/FT*H*F
304 SS is 8.6 BTU/FT*H*F
Titanium is 3.8 BTU/FT*H*F
We use titanium spacers to isolate heat from manifolds
for injection molding hot runners.
Copper is about as high as you can get (174BTU/FT*H*F), Titanium is about as low as you can get.
Personally I'd look at a phenolic. Stinks when you macine it!

Al B had wavy discs on his 99 Techno.
Al care to comment on any improvement?

Wow that's some good prices.
The Mecetechno Amigo/ Alivin also uses the Ducati Ignition.
(Like any one else has one out there!)
-
Worst case, send them to me (if it's not a ton of them) and I'll resize them for you.

All that external one is doing in the picture is
putting oil to the top end with out using the internal
passageway. I'm sure the factory internal one is blocked.
This lets the oil be cooler to the top end instead of picking up heat
from the barrel on the way up.

Not to get off topic Heath but I read your 2006 bikes "try out"
and it seemed as though you were very happy with the Beta.
Since you have ridden them all, what one seems to feel best for
a tall rider?
Thanks
