the fuel oil mix wont make the rad water creamy ! sounds like you have a gasket gone and its mixing tranny oil with your water

On as new bike as that i would say spend the extra and get the best you can !

how old is old mixed fuel ? is a week ok to leave mixed super ?

ok will try fresh fuel and carb clean first thanks for the helpfull comments I was told by a bsa expert carbon on the piston is good because it protects piston from heat a bit more than a clean piston

#1 Is it worth poping head off and cleaning/polishing head and top of piston from time to time ? #2 can i reuse head gasket once ? #3 would this maybe sort out pinking and knocking on down revs ? Thanks Matt

change the plug also if it bogs down at slow speed it could be pug or timing or both

does it not take the same in both legs ? if it takes more in one leg its the one with rebound that takes more oil and if it says left its left from the front

anyone got a engine break down picture ? bearing it looks like the gold part in a sealed bearing water pump been apart or kick start ? http://www.betamotor.com/system/attachment...t_07_motore.pdf if you have had head off it could be the bearing by the cam chain page 10 number 14 or 20 or if you mesure what you have and add about 5mm it might rule some of them out i think kick start is best place to start

Hello its not like a car you dont need to take the indacator out ! Just put the bike level and look to see if the oil is in the window if it is there is plenty of oil if its not or only half way top it up a bit

You might need to scuff the plates up with p80 The problem you are having its the plates sticking to the metal plates 1500 would polish them to much give all the plates metal and fiber a good scuff My fan was on almost all the time on my techno and my rev 3 i just filled myn up and put cap on run it till fan came on then left it over night then checked coolant level it bairly moved

im thinking of getting rid of my well used 2005 beta 250 to get a very tidy almost mint 2002 sherco i like the look and ease to work on of the sherco but are the parts easy to get a cheap ish ? What do you all think ? am i mad ? I could be a older but better condition bike and 500 quid better off ?

Anyone want a big area to ride ?
