yes it does smell like petrol and oil plus its watery

right drained oil and put fresh in a little bit less than recomended plus i put a clean un oiled filter in to eliminate that source of oil also then checked water level ran bike until i heard the fan kick in four times still smoking with a little oil coming out of the silencer ?????? i'm stuck taking it up to pennine on monday for andy to look at

hi all looking for some advice my 2008 rev 4 started up okay this morning but had a bit of white smoke coming from the exaughst with a little oil spitting out with the gas it then cleared when warmed up but after 5 minutes started spitting oil again then cleared it seems intermitent i checked the engine oil sight glass and it appears that i may have put too much in as the level was way past the top of the glass any thoughts suggestions as to what could be causing this ? many thanks

right i'm needing some new bars that are higher than the standard beta 4" bars looking at jitsie,renthal or the s3 buffalo bars anyone used any of these ?

right just bought the apico bar riser kit but it will not fit my 2008 rev,have been told that the standard bars are 4 inch rise so looks like i'll be buying new bars

anyone know the sizes for the stock beta bars think i need some taller bars due to old wrist injurys many thanks for any info

hi all anyone know if the rev4 2008 bike has a reserve setting on the fuel tap i ran out yesterday about a mile from the car

its pretty rubbish that they are not fit for purpose i've just bought some alpinestars and after one practise session some of the stiching had started to seperate this was due to a slightly burr'd phillips screw head on the silencer,pretty poor if you ask me for £200 hard earned

i've email mr saunders he said there wasn't one available ?
