February 9, 200719 yr 4 stroke gasser japan vid ! Anybody got any idea what this is all about ? ... Why would Gas Gas, a totally Spanish company with no decent Japanese riders riders on their books (that I know of) be testing a bike in Japan? Vid has no sound - for me anyway so can't even tell if it is a four banger.
February 9, 200719 yr Author It has sound for me .... it's a four banger... Agree with your observations though
February 9, 200719 yr Got to be a home project - Honda CRF 100F engine dropped in to a Gasser frame. Looks pretty flat, as would probably be expected.
February 10, 200719 yr And would GasGas release a appearently underpowered aircooled 4t on the sly ! I don't think so ... But I do apriciate the work that went into putting whatever 4t that is into the GG chassis ! That's a weldone acomplishment in it's own right !!!! I keep day dreaming of a large honda 4t in my spare 240 pro frame ... Glenn My spellcheck died !!!! KIDS!!!!!! Edited February 10, 200719 yr by axulsuv
February 10, 200719 yr It looks to me like a 2004 chassis, mainly because of the forks and plastics, im pretty damn sure gas gas wouldnt put a new development bike out with a silver frame etc. At the same time though, looks like a really nice build, well done that man.
February 10, 200719 yr I don't think it says anywhere its a GG promo vid doe's it? nice job by the owners and he seems to be doing very well for a 100cc lump. Great stuff
February 10, 200719 yr Come people we all know its not a factory bike! 1) GASGAS 4st 100cc special 2) Air cooled 100cc engine 3) old chassis 4) coloured wheels
February 10, 200719 yr It definately shows the potential of a small 4stroke which is not high-tech at all!
February 10, 200719 yr I have seen Jialing motors(Chinese copy of Honda) in Gasser chassis around Gloucestershire.150 or 200cc (Same motors that are used in Cotswold twinshock built by Jon Bliss) I was going to do one myself, didn't bother in the end and bought a Scorpa 125. Good mod when the Gasser dies a death and a way of getting in the Air cooled mono class. Wait for it. Its not how it left the factory brigade. Edited February 10, 200719 yr by bo drinker
