  2. If any one curious this crack is on a seccond bolt from a muffler mount not the closest ones. I firs checked that area and was, uff it is fine, but then😭 ...pauls320, thank u so much, I would of slapped this head back in and after would be like🤔 . Fun fact, whet I asked AI about a bolt situation it ansvered, NO, M5 bolts can not be used for an engine head😁 Also in Ossa official manual it says that bolts are T20 M5 so I first welded T20 bit to make a special tool to unbolt them 🤨

  6. Any one have a head to sell?🤕
  7. The moment I read your comment my friend I had that feelung, fleshing image in my head that I could not see anything wrong on old o rings. So after ansvering first I imediatly took my magnifying lens. And voila...😢
  8. Great point! Thank you for advice. I will inspect. I was just checking if the head is flat, while waiting on o ring shipment. Managed to take a head off pretty easy but thinking about changing 25mm T25 M5 bolts with a hex kind, so I can torque them without engine out. Or if I take engine out to drill 2 holes into a frame and weld some small pipes inside of those holes to strengthen frame in drilled points, so I can use those holes to reach 2 most critical head bolts to reach. Also planed to make a comment about a muffler. I mean, even though I really respect Ossa's designe team work in many ways, making muffler into a prying tool for an engine head is such a bad idea. I am seriously considering doing some mod to dissconect muffler fron an engine.
  9. Does anyone have any info on the dimensions of the TY125 majesty. Would one of these be useable by an adult.
  10. I am nearing completion on the restoration of an Alpina model 138 and am looking for the paint code, or the name of the orange/yellow paint on the side covers, and the swoosh on the tank. Any assistance or insight is appreciated.
  11. Good afternoon, I have a 2011 beta evo 250 2t. Had it for a couple of years now. Having s issue where when I rev it, it can take ages to come back down. I have tried messing with mixture screw and doesnt seem to make any difference if 2 out or 3/4 out. I have had the card apart and clean all indivicdual components with carb clean. Again no difference. I have tried to spray brake clean at intake system to see if it revs it doesnt change. Am I right in thinking this could be the crank seal? Or am i barking up the wrong tree? Also its does idle fine. TIA
  12. I have most of a 1968 B44. The main thing I don't have is an engine, and these engines seem hard to find. Would a Triumph unit twin fit into that frame without too much trouble?

  17. Be a good idea to inspect the o-ring grooves in the back side of the head for cracks. The exhaust mount bolts to the head stay and if the suspension is bottomed out it tags the header pipe and levers against the cylinder head , have seen it fracture the head in the mentioned location ..hopefully yours is okay
  18. There is a few different types of Stators for the BOY50 so make sure you order the correct one for your bike. The real early ones were much simpler construction, o easy to distinguish visibly. We have the Leonelli ones in stock. https://www.thehellteam.com/stator-flywheel-boy

  21. Hi all. Don't suppose anyone has a stator for a 2005 txt boy? Little boys is messing around. Doesn't spark unless you kick it over really fast for ages then it will spark fine. It's the internal rotor stator
  22. Hi, Thinking of fitting a PWK 28mm on the old Gripper. A common mod by all accounts, however I’m struggling to find the basic start jetting for these carbs. Does anyone know and willing to share? I have an 28mm OKO already but I guess it’ll need jets/ slide/ needle to suit the gripper. TIA Brent
  23. Since Triumph bought Oset, they are not supporting older models. Even with current models parts are not available. I have been trying to buy a TXP 24 rear tire but they don't have any with no ETA. Triumph doesn't seem to care about trials.
  24. Silicone has a higher heat tolerance than NBR, so if you can that would be better. Both will tolerate the Glycol.

  26. Hello good people. I bought my self a cheep defective Ossa. It is in a rather good shape, only inner head gasket is blown. After cranking it pops like a champagne when opening a radiator cap. Coolant that I have drained smells on gassoline. As I can see 4 side bolts will be the problem to torque with my Nm torque wrench because of a frame interference . Should I use some special tool , or release engine in front and pivot it a bit to make some clearance? One more thing. I read that inner oring is better to be silicone than NBR one, any oppinion on that? Many thanks !
  27. Thank you for taking the time to explain it Ron! I'll have to look into this now
  28. Thanks, found out the rev 3 shouldn't have a shim at all exept the bearing washer
  29. That's a really great tip! I knew mine was original, so I figured if it wasn't leaking now it would be soon so I didn't bother testing it.
