  2. I must add. Even though I really think that Ossa design engineers are awesome and I admire their work in many ways. Bolting muffler to a head of an engine, plus another bolting point by the shock next to it, made a mufler which is pretty much structural component into a pry tool, especially if muffler gets some firce from the top in rear. Plus, I am swaping torx bolts with a simple hex ones with elongated heads otherwise this simple gasket fix will be pretty much engine out job. Another solution wiuld be if the frame had 2 holes with a welded pipes inside to strenghten drilled points, so that 2 most critical screws can be reached through those pipes straight from the top. I will do that simple mod if this unit ever gets engine out of the frame. Also in Ossa parts manual it says that bolts are T20 and they are actually T25, in my case at least.

  4. Hi, Thinking of fitting a PWK 28mm on the old Gripper. A common mod by all accounts, however I’m struggling to find the basic start jetting for these carbs. Does anyone know and willing to share? I have an 28mm OKO already but I guess it’ll need jets/ slide/ needle to suit the gripper. TIA Brent
  5. Since Triumph bought Oset, they are not supporting older models. Even with current models parts are not available. I have been trying to buy a TXP 24 rear tire but they don't have any with no ETA. Triumph doesn't seem to care about trials.
  6. Silicone has a higher heat tolerance than NBR, so if you can that would be better. Both will tolerate the Glycol.
  7. Hello good people. I bought my self a cheep defective Ossa. It is in a rather good shape, only inner head gasket is blown. After cranking it pops like a champagne when opening a radiator cap. Coolant that I have drained smells on gassoline. As I can see 4 side bolts will be the problem to torque with my Nm torque wrench because of a frame interference . Should I use some special tool , or release engine in front and pivot it a bit to make some clearance? One more thing. I read that inner oring is better to be silicone than NBR one, any oppinion on that? Many thanks !
  8. Thank you for taking the time to explain it Ron! I'll have to look into this now
  9. Thanks, found out the rev 3 shouldn't have a shim at all exept the bearing washer
  10. That's a really great tip! I knew mine was original, so I figured if it wasn't leaking now it would be soon so I didn't bother testing it.
  11. Had the same jet block leak on my Beta. I diagnosed it like this...
  12. It won’t reset. They only let you load a certain amount unless you become a paying member. The other way to load pictures, without the limit, is to use a photo sharing site that stores the photos there instead of on Trials Central. I use Flickr but there’s others. Somewhere on here is a description of how to do it but I always have a hard time finding it. You can also just include a link to the photos for wherever you have them stored. Good luck! I found the direction to uploading photos: https://www.trialscentral.com/forums/topic/43691-posting-photos/
  13. Wondering if any regulars of this forum would be able to give me a little insight, as I was posting pictures before it said the file size limit was 3.5mb, now it is telling me its 2mb which is too small for the resolution of the photos I currently have, is this something that resets or if anyone has any input I would appreciate it😊
  14. Thank you! I wish I knew more about the pictures but there was nothing written on them. I am actually not sure who the gentleman in the yellow Jacket is as my Uncle is the man in the 2nd picture leaning on the 1 bike smoking a cigarette with the M49 closer in frame
  15. Looks like I've reached my attachment limit here on the forum so no more pictures unfortunately. Not completely satisfied with the idle on the bike, it's slightly erratic. Suspecting possible leaking jet block gasket - got one from Jetsrus.com so I'll hopefully get that installed tonight.
  16. Rear sprocket guard also installed... any of the newer sprocket guards from the pro models will also fit these older bikes in my experience.
  17. Front brake rotor guard from TheTryalsShop in New York is installed....

  19. Thank you. I'm going to try them or the ARC levers.
  20. A Full face MTB helmet is safer to your teeths and more ventilated. But, yes, too light for motorcycle helmet? They have MIPS technology and people in bike take serious jumps at much higher speeds than us.... The truth is: Trials helmet stopped on time and innovation is required by users for sure. Who will fill the gap???
  21. If the same as mine, where they go into the hub they are M6. Bear in mind though that they are special shouldered bolts
  22. Hi, does anyone know where I can buy short clutch levers and brake levers for my 2023 Beta Evo 300 SS ? Greathings, Luc
  23. Thank you Marky, i will look into those
  24. The two major crank seals are built into the main bearings. The left side has an additional seal between the main bearing and the magneto. You'll be removing the engine and splitting the cases. This video from Jim Snell shows how...
