Just thought I would put a question out to everyone. How do the other countries raise funds for the TDN? I am from the USA. It is a grass roots thing here, but there are people who are trying to raise the stakes a little bit. Just loking for some ideas.

Sad that Miguel Gelabert has retired from the WTC. His social media mentions health problems for which he is receiving treatment. I do wonder if there was a further problem in terms of an available ride for next year. Without personal sponsors or families paying its increasingly difficult for young riders to stay in the sport. How long has the wtc got left, it will have been a championship for 50 years if it lasts to 2025

Lots of bits an pieces been said on different threads about this years trial whats your overall thoughts about it now the dust has settled. I personally thought it was a great weekend. Mini masters trial very good made all the better by Amos and his antics. Sections on Sunday very good with severity about right (still amazed at what they do even after watching around 10 world rounds) viewing seemed better than last year (not sure why) deserving winner in Fuji seems like a genuine guy. Shame Doug couldnt get his 100th GP win couldnt quite seem to put in that one amazing ride to get the crowd really behind him like last year (it was a hard act to follow).

This might be old news or even just a rumour but I have heard that the Sheffield Indoor at the end of December has international status but is not a World Round, is this correct and if this is the case why and just who might be riding in it.

Hi all! Couldn´t resist posting my own statistics. One way to rank the best rider is to count world titles and medals. #1. Bou, #2. Lampkin, #3Tarres and so on. We all now that these 3 are in a class of their own no question. Another way to rank riders is to look at their placings in the WCH (and ECH) throughout the years (giving them points for top 15 placings (20-17-15-...1) that favours a long succesful career. This is my list based on FIM results from website (although there might be minor errors in FIMs results).(Top 40 + some interesting names although the lower ranks have only been sorted on points). They use to have a list of most scored points but that one m…

Well into the season now and wide open on who will be champ, the US round could be a big decider, needs to be wet and hard to sort the top lads out.

Anyone else see this just before 7 on Friday night. Was a good few minutes long and had interviews with Lampkin and one of the organisers. Also mentioned that Trials is the cheapest form of motorsport and described what its all about. Well done BBC 1 Scotland.

Just watching and every section they show Karlsson on his Mont 4RT sounds like a 2 stroke.... I'm assuming (as no one written anything) this is very poor editing and montesa aren't slipping a 2 stroke back into trials.

It would be helpful to know how long the actual 'show' lasts? Can anyone who's been before give some indication...? Many thanks

Head. 1 - Bou 2 - Raga 3 - Fuji 4 - Cabestany 5 - Lampkin 6 - Fajardo 7 - Dibs Heart 1 - Lampkin 2 - Dibs 3 - Brown. Would be great if Doug managed to pull off that 100th win, unlikely but you never know. Doug generally starts the WTC strong and with it being two days and a relatively 'home' fixture in Northern Ireland.

I was just reading the Todotrial website and noticed that Alfredo Gomez, (new World Youth Champion of course ) got a hero's welcome at the airport when he arrived home. He got an audience with the Mayor and let out on the balcony to crack open a bottle of bubbly (F1 Style) in front of his adorning fans gathered outside. Fair play to the guy! It must be something to be a world champion and get that kind of treatment.. Similar to what happens over here I bet
