hi I currently have a onza t-bird 20 inch trials bike and am thinking of getting an onza hitman to try out 26inch trials . what can you do on a 26inch trials what you cant on the 20 inch. i have some magura hs33's which i can add to the hitman. i like the idea of gears and it looks like most pros use 26inch bikes. so if any one has a hitman please can you tell me what they are like . thanks

Hello I'v been considering buying a trials bicycle but I'm afraid I'l pick up bad habits for its motorized counterparts such as uneven peg weighting from pedaling. please tell me any bad habits I might pick up if I were to take up bike trials.

Well done to Sam Oliver , managed to pick up sponsorship from MRS, the UK importer for Monty. No doubt this will be a great help as he (and the Oliver crew) make an attack at the World Rounds. I'm not one for blowing people's trumpet when they start to get a bit good, but I've never seen anything like it. It gives you a tingle down your neck. I've always thought that if you really want to excel at something, you have to go absolutely over the top - training training training. Sam is doing exactly that. Watch this space.

  12. Hello! A new BikeTrials club has been formed up in North Yorkshire, aiming at bringing in grass roots riders, young riders, old riders, people who have never ridden before into the sport. Its basically Motorbike trials without the motor. We ran our first ever event last month, with 14 entries, all local lads, most of whom had never ridden a cycle-trial before. The feedback we had was brilliant, so we are hoping round two is just as good. This year will be a three-part series, with Round two being this Sunday (20th July). If you ride locally or even want to try the sport out - please do get in touch, either on here, Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail from our website. This Sunda…

BikeTrial at the Trials Training Center Sequatchie, Tennessee 09 October 2004 By Michael Friddell Did somebody say something about rain? Oh yeah, that's right, only a forty percent chance, huh?! That forecast should have be more like this: "Light rain beginning at dawn, gradually getting harder as the day progresses and then tapering off once Mike Friddell's biketrials event concludes at around 3:00pm Eastern." So yeah, it rained. As anyone who's ever been there can attest, the algae-covered rocks at the Trials Training Center get a "little" slippery when they are wet. Well, to be fair, not ALL the rocks were slippery - just most of them! Luckily, I knew there was a …

I've put a similar post up to this a while ago, and this is the next installment I suppose. Some of you may remember Sam Oliver. Used to ride around the Cheshire area, in fact Cheshire Champion in the C Class I think, and was riding the Inter route as a C Class rider. Bit of a strange thing happened about the time he fractured his skull doing a nice little front flip from a pile of pallets on his little Monty. Strangely, after he got out of hospital and recovered, it seemed to fuel his addiction to the bike trials, and he's just about been training non stop since. Earlier in the year he had a trip to the first round of the British Championships, and he did pretty well..…
