  3. Conditions are not great at present (if it’s not under snow, it’s under water). With the weather forecasts predicting snow every day bar one for the remainder of the week, it’s looking grim. A final inspection of the course will be made on Friday, and a decision made on whether to run or not after this. The parking field is a swamp and completely unusable, arrangements have been made to use other parking areas but space is limited. IF the trial goes ahead the club would be grateful if competitors could try travel together in one vehicle where possible and park sensibly. Please check the club website, Trials central and Facebook before you travel. or contact Paul Wright…

Still no results. They know how to wind up the Tension!!! They are missing a board according to Bradford. Hopefully they aren't looking for the one where the Observer decided they'd had enough and bugger'ed off after the first lap. Left a few riders scratching their heads.

  7. Just a reminder that we are holding our final trial of the 2014 season on Sunday 21st December at Burrycliffe quarry, Elton, Derbyshire. The details were sent to T&MX News but seem to have been omitted from both regs available and whats on. Please tell your friends as Burryclife is a great venue in the heart of the Derbyshire Peaks so forget that last minute Christmas shopping come trialling instead start time as always is 11.00 am See you there

what a superb trial.a good ride around and a beautifull day.this trial reminds me why i keep riding in trials.all the young guns were riding and enjoying them selves.any body lucky enough to ride near these riders will tell you what a good bunch they are.the problem is when most people see them at the british championship there is no good banter.all the sections today let them demonstrate their natural ability without them having to ride stupid sections.a superb day out.

Richmond Motor Club are holding a Yorkshire Centre Trial this weekend starting at 10.30am near Low Row in Swaledale. The Trial will be two laps of twenty sections, many of which are based on the Clubman sections used in the Reeth Three Day. The idea is to have one course of straight forward, old fashioned, becks & gullys. There'll be no tight turns & big steps to frighten the lesser lights but there'll be plenty for every level of abiltiy to have a go at. Section plotter AG Brown informs me that most sections will be very grippy following the recent floods & that all the sections have been filled & flattened so that the first rider gets the same chance as …

  11. With the country suffering from some of the wettest weather this year an ark might have been more appropriate than a trials bike last Sunday when the Peak Classic Trials club held round 10 of its 2012 Club Championship at Bracken Rocks near Holloway in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District. The clerk of the course Paul Beswick had spent Thursday and Friday setting out along with the help of fellow club member Jim Wickstead and did their best to take the downpours of late into account when doing so however one thing they didn’t take into account was a last minute training day organised by James Dabill on the Saturday which left the venue looking more like a m…

I've just returned from riding in the first day of the Dudley Clubs Two day trial at Mamble Farm. The sections contained three routes, so there was something for everyone. Any riders in the Midlands want a good event tomorrow (Sunday 10th July) then get along to this trial. Pete & Lynda Cartwright who run the club will be more than pleased to accept entries on the day.

  15. The first round of the Scottish youth/over 40's championship at Milnathort has been cancelled due to the land being waterlogged. The club had a phone call from the landowner today to say because of the snow earlier in the week now melted the land is sodden. So unfortunately the club has no choice but to cancel. The club trial scheduled for Saturday 3rd is also cancelled.

The Stratford Club are holding a club trial at Top Farm near Broadway in Sunday 25th June. There will be four routes set out to cater for Experts right down to TY80's including a sidecar class. After requests to simplify the marking system, each route will be marked out from the Begins right to the end, with Experts following red arrows, Clubmen following blue arrows, Novices following yellow arrows and TY80's white arrows. Top Farm offers an interesting and new range of sections with steep wooded banks and climbs together with a purpose built arena style group of obstacles. Refreshments are also available for those wishing to stay on after the event and make use of th…

The previous classic round the phil king took a bit of a grilling on these pages ealier, but praise where its due, I think sundays Doncaster cup run by Mansfield maun was really good. The weather was fine it started from a pub which served great food and cooked breakfast . To cater for pre 65s, twinshocks and some really good modern bike riders has got to be difficult, but I think they had it spot on, some sections were easy but some were really challanging, the big rock steps and the last double sub were great. 2 twin shock boys finished on single figures but the rest were into doubles and a result was achieved. Thanks to all involved in the organizing and to the o…
