Hi all does anyone anywhere run vintage enduro events? ive got a couple of old(read it175/ pe175) bikes that i'd love to give a good outing but where? please dont suggest turning up at the latest TBEC event with one of these! i'tll be like turning up at the local trial and riding a sherpa 325 on the hard route against scorpa's, betas, etc!!! ,

Hello folks, I Fancy having ago at enduro on my trials bike and have a few questions, I was wondering if anyone knows of any events coming up in/near lincolnshire? Do they have a class for trials bikes? Will I be able to ride with my acu trials registration or will I need to get another liscence? Also any tips on modding the bike? I think I will put a 14t front sprocket on it. but will I need anything else? Any info is welcome Cheers Spike

Firstly my postings on Enduro are even less popular than when I post about football....you would have thought with Doug Lampkin making waves in this disciplie that this forum would have become a little more popular? Anyway, this weekends Hell Gate Extreme Enduro has an all star line up including the aforementined Doug but also Jarvis, Sagar, Taddy, Chris Birch, Gerhard Forster. I recently got my copy of Enduro Illustrated Photo Album 2008, this is a review of the 2008 WEC and is excellent value. Well worth a read and well worth the money, with some great photo's.

During the spring and summer months here in sunny South West France, I need to commute around fifteen miles on a regular daily basis. Now have been looking adding another Majesty to the stable, the scooter not the trials iron or perhaps to wake the neighbours up in the morning, a Classic Enduro ie. PE or IT . Having trawled the internet, it would seem they are not too readily avaliable. So my question... do they ever come up for sale ( In the uk ) if so what you d you expect to pay for one, I would prefer a 250 or above, in ready to ride condition. Classic enduros seem to be heading the same way as twinshock trials here in France so might even have a pop at one or…

I got the opertunity yesterday to spend about 10 mins. on a G450X ... OMG!!! Almost better than sex ! I've NEVER experianced any bike ever that could even begin to compare !!!! Glenn

Well after much deliberation I've taken the plunge and bought a 2008 KTM 450 EXC-R & free KTM toaster, for some dune bashing in Dubai. Anyone any tips for running one in and what to look out for.

Hey all Looking to get a new motorcross bike for hare and hound racing. I ride the Midwest series and Wessex centre enduros so I need a bike that is quite agile and very torquey. I am currently in the sportsman class but will go up into the clubman class in 2009. Last year I rode a YZF 250 with a flywheel weight, but I am unsure to stay with a four stroke or go for a 300 2 stroke? I liked the YZF but am curious if there is anything better out there. Anyone have any experiences or recommendations? If anyone can advise me on these questions I would much appreciate it. What is a better bike for hare and hound, 300cc stroke or 250 four stroke? Hello guys, One of my workmates sons is looking to purchase a motocross/enduro bike for passing abit of time and having abit of fun but nothing to serious however from what he is telling me he is struggling to find anywhere where he can ride in the northamptonshire area (Kettering to be precise). As far as i undersand he is will to pay for being able to ride, any chance any of you knowledgable lot could give some suggestions of places within northamptonshire or close by?
