Just been looking at the provisional dates for MotoGP next year. Why is it that Spain gets 3 rounds and everyone else has to make do with 1. Its the same with trials, the effectively get 3 again, with Portugal and Andorra only a stones throw away. Is Spain the centre of the universe for Motorcycle Sport as far as the FIM is concerned??????????

The points gap is now down to 21 between Rossi and Hayden, is Rossi close enough to take another World title? Or could Pedrossa find his lost form and do it? My money would be on Rossi but it's going to be one hell of a scrap now.

Nicky Hayden (Repsol Honda RC211V) won his home race for the second consecutive year here at Laguna Seca, his team-mate Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda RC211V) finished second and another Honda star Marco Melandri (Fortuna Honda RC211V) was third as the factory completed a clean-sweep of podium places. This was an intense race. Intense because of the heat

This was one of the great MotoGP races. Fought at high intensity for 30-laps the action never let up and it was Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) who eventually prevailed over Marco Melandri (Fortuna Honda RC211V) in second and series points

Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda RC211V) scored a convincing win here at Donington Park to notch his second victory in his rookie year and put himself firmly in the hunt for the World Championship. Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) was second and Marco Melandri (Fortuna Honda RC211V) third. In bright sunshine, despite a vicious rain shower on the morning of the race at 7:00am, riders lined up for 30-laps of this sweeping 4.023km track. And it was Melandri from third on the grid who led into Redgate on lap one with Pedrosa on his tail and Casey Stoner (LCR Honda RC211V) up with them in third. As the field negotiated that crucial first lap, John Hopkins (Suzuki) relieved Stoner of thi…

DANI WINS, NICKY SECOND IN SHANGHAI SHOWDOWN This MotoGP contest will be remembered as the race where the amazing Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda RC211V) established himself as a new force in the top class with a debut premier category win at his fourth attempt. His team-mate Nicky Hayden (Repsol Honda RC211V) was second and Colin Edwards (Yamaha) was third. After unsettled weather for the two days of practice, race day was hot and dry with the track temperature at 26 degrees and ambient at 31 degrees. A modest crowd of 32,000 was in place as the lights signaled the start of this, the fourth race of the season. Dani made the holeshot from the grid into turn on…

Well the Dr did it again! But what about that ride from Casey Stoner!!!! I think Casey will soon be on the podium once he comes to grips the Motmonster. He was on rails for the first 11 laps and then seemed to lose the flow a bit and suddenly it looked like a 250 lapping in the top 5????? Still a bloody good effort just the same(can an Aussie say that here????) Is Rossi at top speed or has he got something more than his arm up his sleeve (as Barry Sheene used to say). Doohan used to like to get out in front and build a big gap if he could, at least then you knew what he had. Rossi never lets you see if he has anything left in the tank and just wins by being just far en…
