Now even though I've done this before I'm struggling with this - I changed my fork seals last night and first off used 370cc of oil in the right leg but there was far too much to get the top nut back on. I pulled some out and went with 60mm down from the top of the leg when compressed, with the damper rod fully compressed, I could now get the nut back onto the damper rod and the top nut into the stanchion but..... if I do this with the stanchion pulled up it locks the fork up and if I do it with the leg compressed then it vacuums the leg and pulls it back down?????? I pumped the damper loads of times assuming it was air trapped but nothing was showing so I'm obviously …

Hi all I have been given a rear wheel of a 315R Mont with the spokes that go through a flange not the rim and would like to know if anyone has fitted one to their Evo 4T. If so what work is needed e.g. spacers, type of sprocket and rear disc. Or does anyone know if the rim can be laced to the Evo hub (it has the same number of spokes). Thanks

I've got an 05 Beta 125 and had this problem for as long as I've had the bike pretty much. The exhaust is always getting bunged up with that nasty black gooey oil and it's leaking where the front pipe and the expansion chamber connects. It makes the bike look a mess and is a b**ch to clean off and I was wondering if there was any way I can stop this from happening? Is it to do with my oil mixture in the fuel? Could it be the mixture screw? I'm going to clean all the oil off the bike soon and silicone seal the part where the oil is leaking from so it won't go all over my bike. Once the bike has warmed up though it runs fine so it's not decreasing performance? Any help woul…

I've just changed the throttle on my rev4 from the original to a domino slow throttle, I was told to change the cable as well but can't remember what I was told to use, the old cable is just a little too short and is causing it to rev up on tight turns, anyone know what to use instead, rev3 cable? Seeing as it's a rev 3 throttle assembly?

Following the quest to find out why my bike is so noisy, I bit the bullet last night and cut open the mid-silencer from my Rev3 . I cut away a panel on each of the long sides. The previous owners must have been running 20:1 oil mixtures because the wire-wool was caked up with spooge. All the baffle holes were blocked so the silencing contribution must have been close to zero. Managed to cut the majority of the wire wool away and then used a torch to heat up the carbon build-up around the baffle tube. It all came off quite easily to reveal all the holes. Next step is to put some new wire-wool in there and to weld back the panels....
