I'm using Motul 5100 , I've been advised to check a few things, chain sprockets etc.
Do you still have that heavier flywheel, if so could I try it ?
Cheers

I've had an 07 SY250 for over two years now and recently the bite point of the clutch varies when the bike gets warm.
When I do a slow speed circle, 1st gear, clutch out, on tick over the bike jerks forward each time the engine fires ' or at least that what it feels like'
I know the gear oil needs replacing but is it worth stripping the clutch to check the friction plates first ?
If the plates are worn would they give these symptoms ?
Or could it be anything else I've overlooked
cheers

Hi,
There is a video on YouTube which goes over the basics but it's a USA one so not sure how relevant
Maybe the ACU should create the same ?

Just stripped the swing arm on my 07 SY250 and one of the bearings is totally rusted, some of the needle rollers dropped out as I tapped the bush out.
So is there anything to watch out for when removing the bush from the swing arm, or replacing them?
Will they tap out or do they need pressing out? any advice appreciated
Cheers

Hi - I've read this and tried to understand what I should be doing etc but at the weekend there was a section I couldn't get right, so if anyone could advise.
1st there was a drop over a few rocks then an uphill loose climb with a right turn half way up though the flags and then coming down again to a climb out of the section.
No massive boulders but it felt so odd going up turning and then down the hill - didn't know if I should lean the bike away from the hill in the turn or into the hill, ended up with the bike either loosing grip as I traversed the hill and the rear tyre sliding down or me footing into the hill side
Any thoughts ?
cheers

Hi - it was tough going but you did the right thing to miss the sections and just have a ride round.
I did the same on my first trial earlier this year, I'm very much still learning but just try to get use to controlling the bike and balancing,
Get as much bike time as possible, try to find a place to practice and don't get put off - it's a great sport
