  1. would these fit on a 12.5? my 23 year olds fingers aint long enough for the standard and its pretty hard to pull too, just thinking of doing the same if possible
  2. yeah i watched that one too. hes getting really good on that bike! i cant wait till my boys old enough to start doing those sort of things
  3. this looks really good! and impresive wheelies from oliver!
  4. i was quite annoyed i wasnt able to go out for a cig during the trial.. even when i dispalyed a second ticket (friend dropped out) and explained i would uswe this to get back in they said they would refuse me entry. i feel, considering the tickets were
  5. i can ride my sons 12" and once i build up enough speed it can pull me up several hills
  6. MKy sons been standing up on the bike now for just over a month.. hes just starting to get confident enough to continue standing going up hills but still has so sit at some points. considering hes only 2 years and 3 months im pretty proud of his achievements so far Kust watching him dip his knees as he starts to climb the little hills makes me smile. ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOpz5ENJPeE
  7. 1 ticket going spare, will meet at arena tonight, ring me on 07983584598
  8. But hard is meant to be hard? you cannot expect to ride in the hard section if yournot able to achieve alot of the skills required? hard to be should always be all or nothing meaning the risk of taking 5's for not doing it right.. what your talking about to me would be an inter course, where theres risk of dabbing and loosing points but no great risk of a 5. usually you get sections split up so the hard would be a 6ft vert and the inter you could go around in say a 3 ft one. you cant expect to ride hard is you dont have the skills to bring to it. its unfair to want hard tamed down as you sy so the mass can ride it when theres other classes you can ride in i dont understand your logic or am i missing something here? hard should have a minority in it that excell above the rest and require that challenge. Of course people want to be like the WTC hopping over huge rocks, its where the sport has moved towards and it makes it intresting. what other ways can you impliment that could possibly cause marks scored? The balance on some of the riders these days looks as if they have both feet on the ground in terms of what they can do on a bike, but its not exactly easy to achieve and if they can hop about then why take that skill they've spent a long time learning away from them? No offence and im not trying to argue here, but it just seems your asking for a more fairer comp at because you dont have the ability(neither do i) that some of the other people do. Trick is the future of where trials is going... with new machines and new riders being trained on better machines from an early age stuff like balance just come as second nature and people always try to make new things. you didnt need no stop whe they invented trials years ago on scooters and the older machienes because you couldnt exactly hop on the back wheel up a huge vertical wall. tims change and so should the rules to cater for the machines and riders. yes its not fair on the older gen who have long gone past this stange, hey im 24 and its embarresing for me watchig 14-16 year olds shoot up walls when im falling off of little steps but you wouldnt expect alex ferguson to be able to play up front against a team like he used to, like in any sport the new will always rival the old and you cant begrudge that and say its unfair theres a huge margin between. Its like saying you cant do a double back flip in fmx because thats not what people did 10 years ago.
  9. Hoppings a skill though? I find it intresting to watch them line themselves up perfectly for a big step. Imagine using the no stop rules not allowing people to set themselves up properly on a big step that could cause injury if they hit it wrong? The whole intrest in trials in doing the unachievable amd making impossible possible. Saying trick is boring and it should be more fluent would seriously tone down the sections and in my opinion make it a tad boring. Imagine being on top of a huge rock and not being able to take your time to come off it properly for the pressure of being penanised a no stop.. I just get the impression its due to the fact some cant do the hopping and such some of the younger lads can and are abit annoyed they cant score well. Well its a competative sport and if you cant do what others can then dont expect to score high. I still believe a set time limit would favour more to push riders along to clear sections if all its about is people slowing queues by hopping? Its like saying you cant dribble in a football match and you just have to get on with it and pass
  10. Id of thought time limits would be better choice than no stop. Frankly not being allowed to stop would mean you can only ride over the course toning it down somewhat.... Sometimes with huge sections you needto stop to set yourself up otherwise your just sloppy and it wouldnt be achievable. As others have said its a step backwards and would see riders being able to do less. Strict time limits force riders to balance stops snd get a move on before the time runsout
  11. What worries me is the face you actually loose power. Imagine when your petrol starts to get low so doesthe power of the bike. What if your doing a section and require the power but yet on doing such a high risk splatter say you come up short due to lack ofpower that you had 20 min ago?
  12. 61kg is pretty feable considering bou's 3rt was just on min weight and the ossa was under at the scottish round.. id of expected ALOT less
  13. why do they narrow it down so much? surely the more the better really?
  14. Well i took deliveey of a 12.5 and after a 12 hour charge my 2 year old was ready for his first outing

  16. Ftp standsfor file transer protocol, forgive my ignorance but i hardly doubt the internet could be run via that... Its what you use to connect to a system. Ive owned Pc's since 95 andits staggering from then how much tech has advanced and got so cheap
  17. I cant understand why they would use gas in their name.. just seems abit weird as people are obviously going to confuse it in relation to gasgas considering they are both in the same market.
  18. you would be supprised what you can build these days for little money. i built my dad a full pc for £400 which included 16gb of ram, 65 bit phenom 2 quadcore processor and a motherboard that supports dual screen to assist him with his photography. 1tb of storage and a decent psu for piece of mind of power surges and enough power to support future expansions as well as a few other intergrated things too.
  19. Hey, thanks for the reply. If i dont recieve one by the end of the week i shall be taking up my order with you guys. He mentioned something about the 36v being shipped together so i take it oset must be out of 12.5 too which doesnt seem likely he will get it this week
  20. I had a brief look at these in the paddock area in scotland this year at the wtc and they do look of good build. I looked at both before deciding on oset for my 2 year old mainly due to my dealer only living 15 mins away so any problems i dont have far to travel to get it sorted, and also due to the osets being tried and tested at present, with quite a variety of custom mods and parts in discussion on here alone. If the mecatechno turns out to be a good bike then i may decide to steer towards it when i upgrade in a few years but the oset i should be happy with once it finally arives.... On a slightly negative note, been waiting a week and a half already which i find poor delivery performance, i could have ordered something from china quicker.. Dont know if this is my local dealer or a problem with oset? What is the usual delivery time from trialsuk? My dealer said they average 5 days to be delivered to him?
  21. I heard steve saunders say sje wasnt at the uk round because of funds, hopefully gag gas can support her more as its good having a female riders in the sport
  22. 10 and 11 were always not goung to bethe best with all the new stuff that needed testing, 12 is the final stage of a complete bike so has alot of fine tuning
  23. ThE frigjtening thing is these guys didnt have the pleasurr of balance bikes and light trials bikes when they were young so imagine tge up and comming talent in 10 years!
  24. That bike looks very trick! I guess ill just have to wait till he gets a 16", probably be alot more tried and tested around in a few year
  25. GOod little doc, thought i reconised the place from watching other vids then it said ttc.
