Thanks for your help so far, I managed to obtain some mineral oil from a local KTM dealer. So I bled the clutch twice yesterday went out for a practice and its much the same as before a definet clunk when selecting 1st then going up into 2nd, then the gear lever is very hard to move by hand to find neutral with a bit off clutch drag. So today I refitted my original clutch changed oil etc bled clutch again and still hard to move the gear lever between gears!!
Would it be a problem on the clutch push rod actuated by the hydraulic clutch inside the clutch?
Thanks Mike

I have a 05 TXT 250 Pro, I'm having problems finding neutral once the engine is running, I've renewed the clutch thinking that would cure it but its still the same the hydraulics seem OK on the clutch side. Is it a case of bleeding the clutch? and if so do you bleed backwards from the clutch end?
Would like to cure it as its pain whilst riding as you have to stop the bike usually to free your clutch hand to mark yourself after riding a section, as you have to observe yourself here in NZ!

I read some where that one of the top guys had converted their Cub to oil in gearbox instead off a stand alone oil tank to feed the dry sump, does anyone have any details?

Try here=http://www.sunbeam-mcc.demon.co.uk/ Hope to get back to the UK next year to ride Bluebeards on the Saturday followed by the Greybeards Sunday the latter being one of the best trials of the year! Let me know how you get on, usually run early September. I have ridden it 3 times in the past!

Hey Austini
Thanks for your reply, I will try your innertube mod bit annoyed about the muguard being split by the welder had 2 splits up to the fixing hole before but once they go above the hole its only a question of time as they go brittle the other side of plastic weld.
I was interested to read on on another thread that your bike runs good, I'm having problems with mine fluffing and missing when you wind on the throttle half way through a trial. I have the 17.5 pilot tried 102.5 main. Been running a 105, tried a 107.5 yesterday removed air filter which has BelRay filter oil. And it was OK!
So I will try it with a dry air filter next.

I've just received the TMX 29/09/06 here in NZ And noticed New SY160 4 Stroke advertised Fastrax Motosports and a private sale Scorpa 163R 07! Is this a new 160cc model or just the new 07 SY175F model.
Also whats the price of a replacement muguard SY175F my welder broke it (honest) with the back wheel out on side stand it fell he tried to catch it with the mudguard and guess what!! Is the 125 one the same price?
-
Has anyone got the results of the Bluebeards and greybeards last weekend or point me in the right direction. Hoping to ride them next year when we return to the UK for a holiday!

Has anyone tried or any knowledge of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TIGER-CUB-BANTAM-OVE...6QQcmdZViewItem
As it would be good to have a rear brake that works on my Cub! Or is it me can't seem to get the same purchase with my left foot brake, Iv'e tried getting new linings fitted oversize different compound etc, but rather than ordering these shoes from the UK getting them sent to NZ only to find they don't work either.
