Then when you perfect that part, you can start learning how to turn 180 deg whilst in the air.
Here's one of my favourite shots of Steve Saunders demonstrating a 180 flick turn... he did this time and time again and each one was inch perfect.!

The OK Supreme LDT is definitely ON!
Out of respect to our farmer land owners, the route will not include any farms this year, so expect a shorter event than I had originally planned.
With entries now closed, there will be 112 trail bikes inthe event which will cover 55 miles on and around the Cotswold Hills near Broadway.
First man away from Blackwell Village Hall will start at 9am with the remainder starting at one min intervals.
Sadly I have had to cut out favourites including Top Farm, Meon Hill and Ettington Park, but the rest of the course will still be a fair ride around. The traditional lunch break will now be at Saintbury Quarry where the Top Farm catering team will be mobile to supply the refreshments.

Let us know how you get on. Good luck with the repairs.

In bending the lever you may have altered the trow of the arm so that it isn't pushing the piston quite as far.
Simply try adjusting the rod so that it goes in further. Be careful not to adjust it too far so that it's permanently applying the brake.
-
Yes, terrible sad news indeed.
-
Check out thsi one!

Here's a shot of Neil on hisXR400 in Saintbury on Saturday evening, taken whilst checking out the route for the OK Supreme.

Speaking to the land owners that I can get hold of this morning, (Saturday 15th Sept) the trial is still on. However, this is obviously under revue and may still cvhange.
Iw ill post as soon as I know different.
Fingers crossed for the farmers.
-
I doubt it very much...
And at the end of the week the top ten in the world would still probably be the top ten in the world.... but they really would have had to prove it and everyone else would have still had a good time riding the same trial.
-
Now that would be something..... the SSDT scoring as a WTC round.
-
At 'grass roots' level, finding riders isn't the problem therefore making enough money to run the event isn't a problem but finding and keeping venues and having enough helpers/officials is getting tougher. And I don't see it getting any better as the dedicated few get older.
-
And they both require balls!!!
-
I've always used 80mls of synthetic oil to 5 litres of fuel which gives 62:1
-
That's not funny!!!
Ummm... sorry, yes it is
-
Bad news for the event but a wise precaution. Fingers crossed everyone!
-
Nice one Just, good to see you making the most of the nice weather.
-
Remember dealers/importers took a big hit on the price of new trials bikes back in '97. I paid

Thanks for letting us know John. I am in touch with the landowners for the next round of the series which is the OK Supreme on the 23rd Sept. and will place a post as soon as I have any info.

Check that the reservoirs aren't too full! There could be no where for the excess fluid to go thus slightly applying the brakes.
Also check that (as already mentioned) the lever and pedal have some free play.
-
There are a few places left but the closing date is upon us. Get those entries in quick. Remember British and twinshock trials bikes have their own classes and awards! As do the ladies!
-
Tough going all year around for the farmers.
-
I think the point he is trying to make is that a 2007 model will be worth a lot less in one years time than a 2008 model in a years time, despite both bikes being the same age (if the condition is comparable.)
If you're not going to sell the bike for a good few years this is irrelevant and I'd say take the saving and buy the '07 and keep the money in the bank.
-
Could he bolt/weld a pair of castors on one side and simply wheel it on its edge?
He should be able to get a pair from any harware shop.

You may have flooded it.
Take the spark plug out, have a look at the plug to see if it is wet and give it a clean; turn off the fuel and kick it over a few times. Then check that there is a spark at the plug before replacing it and try starting again.
This time, leave the choke and fuel tap off and give it full throttle; this will help to clar out any excess fuel.
If this doesn't work, take the plug out again and see if it is now wet- if it is, repeat the procedure- if it's dry, you will need to tuen the fuel on and try to start as normal.
Let us know how you get on.
