  1. Marky , your best bet is to talk to nigel birkett, a mind full of yamaha info, good bloke too
  2. Sorry chap only old bikes this time for thr T H T as we are trying a new format, and we are not aiming for a miller round. If the Traders runs next year i am hoping we can use the same classes as the normandale series. Then it would be a clubman trial with expert deviations, a trial to appeal to a wider range of rider ability. As i previously said there is no date for this event as of yet, but myself and our comp secretary feel this event has far too much history to be lost like so many other nationals. I am sure the first Traders was run back in 1928 then run up to 1994, so thats 60 years give or take world war 2, foot n mouth etc, so thats a fair run, so it deseves to be back on the calender in my opinion.
  3. Thanks chaps, we got a committee meeting coming up next month so i can put this forward then, i know what to look for and standard to set it at so hope for a date this time in 2011. The Trevor Hunt Trophy this year will be for Twinshocks and Pre 65s, a two route classic trial based on last years normandale round.
  4. Any chance of some feedback here please folks? Am i right in thinking that this event would have run if the trial had 2 routes? A trial aimed at the clubman who support most nationals in the calender? Deviations from the main route for experts? Clubman route rideable for twinshocks and A C Monos as well as modern bikes? No stoppers like Tremorithic? Or is it that the Traders name itself that puts people off by thinking they will be riding the sames BTC sections used in the early 90s? We would like one day to see this trial back on the national calender again but we need to know whats wanted, so any good comments would be welcome Cheers Andy
  5. I used a W E S go silencer on my pinky, does the job a treat, quiet enough i feel. Sorry cant help with the other problems tho..

  9. How ya doing K B? I suggest if you want a classic trial with similar sections to the manx classic, you come down to herefordshire on september 19th 2010,to do the Wye Valley, Trevor Hunt Trophy Trial, one lap of 40subs, 30mile ride round, 2 routes, no limit to how many twinshocks, just get an early entry for a late number. And you dont need a ferry to get here either.... I guarentee you a good day out
  10. Good trial today, well done Brian and all
  11. Hi folks the lap will be about the same length, sections on hill lane as we had so many riders last year enjoy riding that green lane!! 16 groups in all,4 new groups, hopefully the last 2 subs will be a good talking point!! Basically you will be riding what was the Wye Valley Traders but on a less severe scale, and no Tremorithic to worry about....... Look forward to seeing you all enjoying a good days sport. Only wish i was riding!! ENJOY Regards Andy Pitt
  12. Hi 5, sections will be aimed at the majority so similar to last year, there will be about six to eight a bit tougher to sort the top runners, sections will be laid out with classic drum braked bikes in mind, as per acu conditions. The trial route wont go back to longtown till the final groups, last year all bikes made it to group 7 where all the fuel had been taken(approx 10 miles). Hope this helps.
