4Rt Throttle Response Problem.
Hello fellas, I don't have a 4rt but I've seen a couple of poorly ones which were fixed quite cheaply, firstly the original post, won't rev out quickly?; Fuel pressure problem= blocked filter in the pump assy'. Twer cleaned up and problem disappeared. Secondly the pop, misfire post?; Air leak=the exhaust was loose at the manifold. Twer tightened up and voila...sorted I hope these fixes are relevant to your situation? Wayne Edit, Brian you're right, I think the filter in the pump assy that I'm waffling about is called the 'tea-bag filter' ?

I see some poor sod had been killed by a falling betting shop sign...what's the odds of that happening?

I got my Sherco out from under its blanket recently and started it up on the drive...but NASA had to go one better, admittedly it couldn't be a full throttle run up but its great to see such hardware and brute force just limbering up outdoors:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yp1jm1mmd-A

I think there's a divide in the Pro owners club, you're either a ;seal up the drain flap, guy or a leave it be, kinda guy. Search around for Gas Gas Scottish Six Day Trial preparation for the definitive answer from the importer.- An Easier Way To Remove The Clutch Basket?
Ok I'll admit that some of this BS is just a stalling tactic, I was waiting for one of our antipodean TC cousins to make a contribution to the original post question. In the back of my mind I can barely recall someone (Neo?) fabricating a holder tool out of plywood...or did I dream that? It must be great to have a memory?- An Easier Way To Remove The Clutch Basket?
Here's a bit of assistance for Copey just incase he's never seen Skippy before: He torques at about 10 seconds in...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEVusbPcTmg Here's another tool I don't use , I think there's a ring-spanner stub as well.- Ty250A Vs Ossa Mar
I'm getting so old that I look at the Yam photo and worry that she'll hurt her toe (not camel ) when that sidestand touches down?- An Easier Way To Remove The Clutch Basket?
A bit of background here Mark; his family were Honda dealers for a long time, he does have a lot more experience than your average trials geezer. You know what it's like when you become familiar with the spanners and you have the 'touch'. Talking of the 'touch' my apprenticeship was in heavy duty industrial hydraulics many years ago and bolting that pressure in safely was paramount. Some of the old fellas could nip up a bolt 'to spec' more accurately than a freshly calibrated torque wrench, for a laugh they would add the tut (think Skippy the bush kangaroo ) when they were done. Even though they were bang on the money they received official repremands for not taking the torque wrench out of its packaging!! So the moral of the story is? If you have the right tool, use it...if you haven't...er...don't- 06 4Rt Or 2012 Evo?
You got me all excited there.....I reckon you're looking at a 2007/8 Mont for that money. I wasn't a 4rt fan until I had a ride of a PTB model, it's the most fun I've had p|55|ng about on a trials bike I've ever had but I don't know how competitive it would be at a trial ( I don't worry about my marks). I think you need to cadge a ride of each steed in the location you plan to use it i.e in a section or at your playground.- Chambery 2013, Toni Bou
Thanks for posting that....great camera work, no silly angles or close ups.... and great riding- 06 4Rt Or 2012 Evo?
Where can you get a 2012 Evo 4stroke for £3k?- Hello From Toni!

A business trip to the toilets of Newcastle? Trade must be bad up North?- Viewing My First Potential Trials Bike........
Buying priorities? Condition first then...how does it ride? You have to swing a leg over a couple of different models to see how it fits you, no-one else can influence this factor it's very subjective . I found the Rev3 to be front heavy and it had a strange head down 'stooped' riding position for me. I owned a 280 2001 Gasser and it had a more comfortable 'head-up' posture but it was a wild-child (potent) yet I never had any mechanical problems with it. ????? I see no splats????? I was as intrigued as my Scots brother B40rt was when the subject of a twinshock splat was brought up, I've never seen one, I would dearly love to witness one particularly from a standing start. I think we might have lost something in translation here? This is my understanding of a splat:- Back wheel lands first on face of obstacle, impact brings front wheel down on top of obstacle...if you're me; you panic at this point and forget to pull clutch in thus launching the bike into low earth orbit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hv2FgkZ_VXs- Kenny The Rooster - Contains Adult Humour

I googled searched 'Funny Scottish Pictures' I willl admit that I did photo-shop the original pic...I added the flag and foliage in the background I suppose it's my own fault for posting the old 'Sherco and me in the bath' photo because it just lead people on; but Ross, Andy, these personal messages you bombard me with have to stop...Andy, I just don't care about your new pants:-- Kenny The Rooster - Contains Adult Humour
Ooh, all you excited Jockenese people will be stocking up for Burns Night Eve tomorrow, all ready to let your hair down and party.
